Agree this episode was a bit meh.

Don't like the new three, and is it so wrong to actually like Lucy.
I'm such an introvert and struggle in social situations that I'd like to be a little more like her- well in her confidence way no shit kinda way not her reputation. Also if Binky likes her I think that speaks volumes, they seem to have a genuine friendship

Bessie123 Carrie Bradshaw wannabe Cheska has always been Single White Female IMO. Her insistence that she is just "protective of her friends" when interfering in relationships/friendships is wide of the mark. I think she cuts a very lonely figure. I once had a friend like that and ultimately it becomes suffocating - which is probably why Binks has defected to the Dark Side now :o

Tig - agree with the "posh totty" view of the 3 Crones. It made me laugh how incensed she was at Lucy for not emotionally bowing to her and begging for forgiveness. I reckon she is probably another Weez and blames everyone else but the boyfriend for their feckless 2-timing ways. And Phoebe - she is just awful and loving the power trip she has over the poor boy with the trainer-beard (didn't catch his name - the one who would rather have her in his life in some guise or other I think he said).

Interesting hypothesis of Lucy being "damaged". I agree that there is something quite vulnerable about her and there was a level of desperation in her desire to be seen as a "player" during last season. It's a device used by women to make themselves appear "cool" with the boys. ie I'm not needy or looking for a relationship.......hoping to appear more attractive because of it but in reality they are craving male attention. Perhaps she was badly bullied at school by other girls? She doesn't strike me as a "girl's girl" IYKWIM. And Binky has the measure of her - that's the reason she called her up on the Biscuits situation. But I think with Binks it is because she genuinely wants her to just be true to herself and drop the nonchalant act.

It's nice that Lucy has Binks as a friend, made her seem much nicer not so aggressive. The three posh blondes are irritating, Pheobe's lipstick alone is too much.

Spenny and Biscuits very much remind me of a few friendships at school. One power tripping one, the other cowering. Biscuits practically can't talk when faced with prospect of a cross Spenny.

Poor old Chesk. One couple to hang out with, she looks so upset all the time.

Methinks Biscuits is quite clever,in that he lets the ridiculous Spenny rant as much as he likes. Meanwhile Biscuits just does what he wants re. moving Francis in instead of Spenny. Spenny will end up alienating everyone.

well Cheska was at that dinner party where Lucy had the masive 'up in the grill argument' that whole situation would be enough to make anyone have a snap judgement of Lucy. It's probably something else, but that's the only thing I can think of

Lucy appears to be suffering from some sort of unresolved trauma or abuse, perhaps she was bullied, but I agree, her self-esteem is rock bottom low. She hates herself, so it's easier if everyone else does too.

New girls do remind me of my poshest 'friend' who would command me at a moments notice to her impromptu strained and uncomfortable dinner parties and wail at me if anyone daren't turn up. They are like all the others; spoilt rotten.

With Louise, I don't think it helps that her and Spenny are doing the long distance thing and being on the rocks at the same time. You have to have a pretty solid relationship to be able to do that which they just don't have. They are a much better couple in the series which are being shot in the summer, because she's on uni holidays and they can see each other more.

I have never liked Cheska for example how she treated Richards ex was simply appalling. And there must be a reason why all the lads go for Binks and not her.

People don't like Proudlock because he half inched Sophia right from under Boulle's nose in the last series.
