Oops, I filled up the old thread. Here is a new, shiny one.

OP posts:

Someone said it was a breadstick

Machli · 09/04/2013 02:13

Francis was FAB! I love him. So RIGHT on the button with Spencer, what a petulant brat that boy is.

Lucy is just so ROUGH compared to the other girls isn't she? She's obviously the Go To girl when the boys want to cheat Hmm.

Tiny Tears please just dump him already!

Spennies personality is showing in his face, he gets uglier with each series.

Binky's looking stunning. Obviously she and Cheska have fallen out.

Oh I am so Grin it's back!

Bessie123 · 09/04/2013 08:45

Great summary, machli Grin

And Lucy is very low rent, you are so right.

vjg13 · 09/04/2013 11:19

OMFG, Louise has got to dump Spencer, it was horrible to watch the way he spoke to her and has treated her.

Still LOVE Francis, he is so decent.

MarshaBrady · 09/04/2013 11:26

They should all dump him. Way too aggressive and storming around chubbily in that ridiculous coat.

Stila · 09/04/2013 11:29

I am past even thinking Louise should dump the chump , if she is that stupid to keep going back to him - they deserve each other !

Machli · 09/04/2013 11:43

Does anyone else think that Spennies proclamations of "the girl I love!" every time Louise is mentioned means he doesn't actually love her at all and is actually trying to convince himself and everyone else?

He's abusive and she is so unhappy Sad but at that age you just can't be told can you?

In years to come she will look back on this and think "WTAF was I doing?!"

StickPin · 09/04/2013 11:43

It was her rolled up napkin!

Love that it's back. Spenny really is a prick. He bullies Louise in to submission. She wanted to say more but he shouted her down. He makes her out to be crazy but i would be angry too if the next day he was calling Lucy! He knows it.

Arrrggghhh. It's not real life, it's not real life.

MarshaBrady · 09/04/2013 11:44

Yeh it should be the girl I control.

The others are hammy but his aggression seems pretty real.

Allthingspretty · 09/04/2013 13:36

Just catching up nut millies skin
just wow.

noddyholder · 09/04/2013 13:37

Am going to watch on catch up tonight Sooo looking forward to it

noddyholder · 09/04/2013 13:38

I think Louise and Spencer will end up together ultimately. Lots of hooray couples do this sort of thing on off on off again and eventually marry and go through the motions

MakeItUpAsYouGoAlong · 09/04/2013 13:59

Spenny is such a tool.

floatyflo · 09/04/2013 14:12

I was shocked last night.

Spencers TRUE colours shone through.
So aggressive and abusive, turning the blame on her, making out like she's crazy, making her insecure then telling her that she's the one who needs to decide how to sort it out.

Red flags no?!

And the way he talks to everyone like crap, and all the talking through gritted teeth. Struggling to hold himself back wasn't he!

Louise looked really vulnerable and submissive.

Way too uncomfortable viewing. If he is like that in front of a camera, I dread to think how he treats her behind closed doors...

If he behaves like

floatyflo · 09/04/2013 14:13

Sorry for that last typo!

MakeItUpAsYouGoAlong · 09/04/2013 14:15

Couldn't agree more flo, he reminds me of my ex twunt in alot of ways Blush

It's shocking, the worse thing is I really don't think he is acting for the camera. Acting up maybe but his true colours shine through

MarshaBrady · 09/04/2013 14:19

He's not acting I don't think. He looks one step away from punching someone in the face and that's when he's talking to his friends about normal things.

As for trying to blame Jamie, for not stopping him sleeping with someone, nuts.

Gingersnap88 · 09/04/2013 14:26

What bothers me is that no one apart from Francis thinks he is being an abusive knob! I could not tolerate anyone behaving like that to someone I knew, and each other.. Confused

Machli · 09/04/2013 14:42

I don't think it's all acting either. Tiny Tears would deserve an Oscar for every episode if so.

I think the central plots like TT & Spenny are true but the more frivolous stuff is made up for us to watch.

Mark Francis made me laugh at that gig when he pulled that disgusted face after his drink, now he is playing up to the cameras I think, except when his housekeeper went off to Italy and he drooped about on the sofa for weeks because he couldn't manage without her Grin. That remains my high point of all the series.

I also liked Lucy more when she spilled the beans to Louise about the phone call. She was quite dignified then.

floatyflo · 09/04/2013 14:47

Yup didn't like it. Reminded me of a time when my best friend was in an abusive relationship. We'd be say having a lovely time and then she would say something that he wouldn't like and that would be it.

The room would go cold, he talk through gritted teeth, lots of swearing, and attempt to push her down. You used to be able to see him holding in the anger as I and others were present. Sometimes I just wanted to stay there all night so she wouldn't be left on her own with him and get it all.in the neck.

Luckily she eventually ditched the bastard, is a lovely happy person, full of energy and positivity now. And we last heard he was on crack cocaine!

So if Spencer carries.on, im not sure how many episodes I could stand to watch. Wouldn't like to give someone like that the airtime. Prick.

MakeItUpAsYouGoAlong · 09/04/2013 15:01

Glad your friend is okay now flo.

It's the smirk and the arrogance. He's actually turned into quite a menacing character. He would scare me, for once I feel so sorry for TT. She's just manipulated, bullied and controlled.

Lollydaydream · 09/04/2013 15:45

It can't be real can it? If it is we're watching a young girl being emotionally manipulated and controlled on tv; ie in public. She has parents doesn't she, can you imagine watching your daughter being treated like that?

I keep expecting one of those helping numbers to come up at the end.

Bessie123 · 09/04/2013 15:57

machki really? I thought Lucy was being an interfering shit stirrer

Bessie123 · 09/04/2013 15:58

Sorry, auto correct machli

Ujjayi · 09/04/2013 16:24

Spencer's treatment of Louise has gone beyond "reality tv entertainment". He is a vile individual with an over inflated ego and sense of entitlement. Reminds me of my v posh ex-public school boy abusive ex. Deeply insecure, cheats and is nasty and then blames the woman for being upset - like she's being "hysterical over nothing".......Wonder if he also gives her the "I didn't hit you, I slapped you" treatment behind closed doors too.......

Lucy is being an interfering little shit stirrer, as Bessie123 says. She isn't supporting the sisterhood by dropping Spenny in it in front of Louise. Rather, she's dropping a bomb that she will enjoy watching explode.

Francis was a amazingly cool the way he took on Spencer. He really showed him up by remaining very calm, stating the facts. I was cheering him on :) Hope Francis finds love this season. He seems such a sweet heart.

Agree that Mark-Francis is top quality entertainment. I could just watch a show with him and Victoria in, actually. Loved it when someone complimented his double denim and he retorted "hmm, yes well when one is in NW1 daaahling" :o I think he probably has the best life of all of them.

I'm 42. WTF do I care about this??!!
