Just starting a new thread before tonight's elimination, as I'm sure we'll all have something to say about that.

yes Natalie's body. Lovely view of her back as she walked off at one stage. Just so tall, strong and graceful.

Yes.

I quite like DVO but much prefer when someone starts off not been very good and you see a huge improvement over the weeks. For me that would be Dani.

Natalie has the most amazing arms.

Unacceptable is it you voting for DVO, multiple times? I wondered who was keeping her in!

I don't really have a problem with DVO, I'm not really cheering for or against her. I think I'm actually going to cheer for Louis and Kimberly, along with Michael for as long as he stays in.

Really enjoyed Nicky's charleston, even if I don't like him, but also liked Pascha and Kimberly's tango.

I also thought Michael was twice as good in the dance-off as he was in the regular performance. He didn't seem to be so furiously keeping track of what he was supposed to be doing and actually less wooden than first go.

I also have a theory about Louis being so wooden. I think that for gymnastics he's used to having an emotionless mask on and it's hard to break that mold for dancing. And he's still young, without any acting training, so doesn't have anything to use to pull out the emotion. But if he smiles for his charleston next week and can keep character, I think it could be aces!

Not sorry to see Victoria go, and I doubt she's sorry either. Poor thing gave it a shot, but definitely not her bag.

I voted for 3 people this week...my favourite DVO and my DD faves Kimberley and Dani. We did like Louis too and DD was convinced he and Flavia would win but goes off them week by week.

I don't get why so many people dislike DVO. Think she works hard and it shows. Also think she is way more likeable than either Nicky or Michael.

I too have a complete girl crush on Natalie (mainly her body- face is a bit more ordinary IMHO.) I am the same height and probably a dress size bigger but am utterly graceless!

Andi me and DH were talking about Louis last night and had the same view as you. In gymnastics routines, they have to make them technicially as perfect as they possibly can but have to keep their face emotionless whilst doing it (have you ever seen a gymnast smile whilst doing their stuff??)

Bearing in mind Louis has been trained in that vein for years and years, it is no wonder that he can't seem to break the habit - which is a shame as I think magic may happen if he could just combine his technicial ability with some emotion

I hesitate to raise this, but Louis has ADHD. There appear to be scientific studies about difficulties ADHD children have in recognising and understanding emotional expressions from faces (see here for example. It would perhaps not be going too far to suggest that if you can't recognise emotions on faces, it is harder to 'act' them as well?

I felt really sorry for Louis after the judges but - he just looked like he wanted to cry He really is pretty young isn't he though?

I expect more performance and quality of projecting expression from DVO and feel she is holding back or she hasn't got what I think she has. She is the most skilled of them all, but I am still waiting for her to wow me as Alisha did.

I've really warmed to Natalie this series; maybe Michael brings out the best in her.
I agree she's physically breathtaking - and, tbf, she can't help the shape and look of her face any more than the rest of us can! She's not percect, but whe's still stunning.

Thank goodness Victoria went. Even the Olympic champ thing has worn thin now. Bet she and Brendan are secretly pleased too.

Good point about Louis and the ADHD. Hadn't thought of that. I hope he can overcome it; he and Flavia are my absolute favourites - Flavia even more stunning than Natalie IMO, and less obvious/barbie doll.

Well,as was said upthread, WTF was Tess wearing? I wonder who thought it was a good idea for her to wear an outfit that made her look like a pregnant Minnie Mouse with bunnie pretensions; WEIRD

Yeah agree with who ever said Vic, looked relieved to go (tears of relief I reckon!) Br. looked relieved too! She def. has a low self esteem I heard her say that she 'just couldn't dance' which wasn't quite true.

Why would DVO look as if they might be going into the dance off? What's that about FFS? It makes me dislike her even more actually, she acts all the time; she is a professional actress, dancer and singer why is she on SCD as a contestant?

Just read on google that Darcy is 5'9" tall, which up on her points would make her well over 6'.
She didn't start with ballet until she was 13, but had previously trained as a gymnast.

I like DVO just can't see why she in it as she is obviously trained.
I don't like the "omg I might go home" rubbish as she won't....
still she can hardly be all smug.

Johnny to win? That would be a surprise result certainly, after being eliminated in week 2!
