So what do we all make of Marcus and Maria now? Think people are being a tad unfair on them. Even Kirk!!!

Loved Steve locking rob in the van.

Looking forward to seeing where the Tina pregnancy thread will go - hope Tommy comes to terms with it all. Loved the happy faces of Izzy and Gary.

could tyrone not sneakily get a DNA test to prove that ruby is his?

then he could kick kirsty out and be allowed access?

and also - david platt and his wife - why are they living with gail?? they both work, surely they could afford to rent their own place, even just a small flat or something? Confused

Adviceinscotland · 27/11/2012 12:55

Seemingly Tyrone asks Kirsty to marry him so he can trick her into getting ruby but Kirsty overhears fizz and tommy discussing the plan then "fizz has to make the ultimate sacrifice for her friend" no idea what that means?

carabos · 27/11/2012 12:59

Is it just me or is the whole David and Kylie making a baby thing a bit boaky?

DesperateHousewife21 · 27/11/2012 13:34

Very boaky, esp when he was discussing it with Gail and wanting to know her movements for the week

wifey6 · 27/11/2012 13:54

Very odd.. Hmm Who tells their parents like that anyway..TMI. Can't stand David Platt!

whatkungfuthat · 27/11/2012 16:30

Ty doesn't want access though, he needs custody as Kirsty is too unbalanced to trust with the baby. Perhaps marrying her is the only way, and then getting proof on film? He has several witnesses as Eileen has said about the noise and Tina & Tommy know, as well as Fiz.

LightHousekeeping · 27/11/2012 17:56

It was me who said that Lewis is going to get between Gails sheets. That is boakier than David and Kylie.

Poor Jack, Ive just blubbed reading this. www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-2239186/Bill-Tarmey-death-Liz-Dawn-leads-way-Coronation-Street-husband-Jack-Duckworths-funeral.html Vera doesnt sound like shes in the best health either.

I can imagine him in Tenerife happily watching the horse racing in an English pub, in the sun. Its a good way to go.

theliverpoolone · 27/11/2012 18:13

Kevin got a sneaky dna test on Jack by stealing his dummy iirc, so you'd think Tyrone could easily get one done on Ruby, and then fight for custody.

DudeIAmSoFuckingRock · 27/11/2012 18:27

oh gail and david's whole dynamic makes me feel boaky. yes why are they living there and where do they all sleep? even nick moved back in didn't he?

kenanddreary · 27/11/2012 18:37

Those houses are made of elastic, they just keep on stretching Grin

Going to be interesting when Owen finds out what Jason is up to. He's not one to double-cross!

OP posts:
LightHousekeeping · 27/11/2012 18:55

we havent seen the nasty side to him for awhile.

Where does Kevin live with the baby that we never see? Is it a bedsit or something?

DudeIAmSoFuckingRock · 27/11/2012 18:59

i think kevin lives in the house lloyd was living beside devs shop in with that girl and her son. what was her name? she went back to her abusive ex in the end didn't she?

Sleepyfergus · 27/11/2012 18:59

God, what a episode. I was cowering for Tyrone. Haveto say both parts are been played brilliantly. Kirstie is crazed.

Totally agree that David talking to his mum about him & Kylie 'doing it' - yep, boak-a-rama. Bet Kylie is going to still be on the pill as someone previously said. Cue David (or Gail maybe?) accidentally knocking over Kylies bag and the packet falling over.

And yes Ken totally agree Dennis is going to be a menace with that cash card. Rita's gonna have to 'ave a word!

Sleepyfergus · 27/11/2012 19:00

Yep, Kev is now in the house next to Devs shop. Where he used to live with Sally ironically!

CanYouHearMe · 27/11/2012 19:01

I'm pretty sure he's back in his old coronation street house

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 27/11/2012 19:06

Yes, Steve bought the house off Lloyd for him and Tracey and sold it to Kev when that didn't work out. Steve seems to just move round and round the street.

wifey6 · 27/11/2012 21:33

Is it true (has anyone else read) that Tina is actually pregnant with Tommy's baby..not the surrogate baby?

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 27/11/2012 21:39

I'm trying not to read spoilers, but you would think the fertility clinic would have had her on hormones to prevent ovulation or something?

Changing the subject, just been browsing the magazines in the supermarket, there is a feature on the actor that plays Eva on the cover of OK, with a pic of her before she lost 5 stone, it is an amazing transformation.

Jbck · 27/11/2012 22:04

Eva is in Trollied on Sky One and she looks like a different girl, shes almost scrawny looking. Dont know when it was filmed but newest series still on so presume very recently.

Tyrone getting beaten up was awful and really shocking, Dd1 was in the room not really watching but I almost switched it off, wonder if they had any complaints because it was so real before the watershed (is there still one).

kenanddreary · 27/11/2012 22:12

It was awful Jbck - very realistic. Poor old Ty - he's had a tough time. Been a lot of violence in the Street recently. Hated the way Jason beat up Marcus in the pub. He really went over the top with that!

Would be interesting to know if there were any complaints - I hadn't thought of that because I don't have young DC any more.

OP posts:
WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 27/11/2012 22:16

My DC are 6 and 8 and although I occasionally catch up with a bit of Corrie with them around I usually have one finger on the stop button, you never know when it's going to get unsuitable. I think I started watching when I was about 12, but don't recall much violence, only lots of affairs.

kenanddreary · 27/11/2012 22:32

Oh yes I remember all the affairs WhoKnows! I started watching when i was about 8 I think. You are right - it did seem to go through a big 'affair' phase.

KenDoddsDadsDog · 27/11/2012 22:41

No spoilers !! We agreed at the start of the other thread. Pleeeeeeease.

Sleepyfergus · 27/11/2012 22:47

Yeah, we should probably ask MNHQ to add 'no spoilers please' to the thread title.

Talking about kids watching tv and violence etc, I had sky plussed Emmerdale the other night (where Katie falls down the mine shaft and is crying) and had it on play back whilst pottering around. Only at the end did I realise the dd aged 3 was watching the last 5 mins, and when it finished she said to me 'I not like that, the last was upset and crying'

Sad

So I need to be more wary, although she's not usually up at soap time, but I should be careful about playing stuff back during the day naughty mummy

Sleepyfergus · 27/11/2012 22:49

Last = lady
