I need to discuss this episode in great detail!! Can someone who has seen it please comment on what you think is the best bit? Also did you think it was very sad?

I thought the scene where Daryl and Carole hold hands for a brief moment was touching, and was shocked when the governor went mental and just killed everyone!

I kind do understand Carl's point to an extent....I know it was a but brutal but he was right, if rick wasn't mr nice guy all the time and killed the governor when we had the chance, things would be a lot different.

My predictions for season 4 - Carl will go slightly off the rails, maggies sister (Beth?) falls for rick, Hershall dies, rick will kill the governor and think Daryl and Carole will kiss.

LittleMonster100 that was my favourite scene, the one between Carol and Daryl. Just that little touch and smile. I think someone said it upthread, they will probably just show them together in some way that shows they are already a couple, no brass bands or big declarations of love, just something that confirms it coz we already knows they luffs each other

I kind of agree about Carl too. At first I thought his psycho streak was showing through but when he explained to Rick why he did it, it did make a certain kind of sense. But yes, like the governor said, kill or be killed.

I did well up at the Andrea scene, not because I was sad about Andrea, but because Michonne was crying. I didn't expect that seeing as how she is portrayed as being tough and in control all the time. Plus I don't think anyone should cry alone Grin

Is it wrong to wish the summer away before it even gets here just so I don't have to wait too long till October?

I watched an old episode last week - the one where Sophia runs away and disappears. Carl has changed so much since then. He's really grown both as a character and as a child!

Loved Michonne in this episode.

Also Daryl not being able to make eye contact with Andrea when they find her at the end was a great touch.

I think they are a couple. I'm sure that the 'bad' guy from their previous group said something about being jealous as he had liked her.

I wasn't sure why...I thought it was because he was struggling with his emotions. Michonne was crying and Rick was saying his goodbyes to Andrea, but Daryl just stood there looking really uncomfortable. Andrea looked over at him a couple of times and he looked down/to the side rather than at her. I thought it was a nice touch.
He's my favourite character too!

Carl is so young.

He really annoyed me in previous episodes, but when he taunted the walker who eventually killed Dale I began to think it was just because he's a kid.

That's exactly what a boy left to his own devices would do. Not nice, stupid and mean, actually, but it doesn't mean that he's deviant.

So I liked that the writers had him bring Dale's death up because now he has guilt and he's questioning the way his dad does things. Which is what we all do.

It was a small tragedy when Rick found his sheriff's badge tossed in the dust.

btw that hat would be coming apart because of the sweat.

yes Carl was so annoying in the first and second series
always buggering off and putting people in danger

he's a really interesting character now though

Daryl seems to have had no problem changing his clothes so why is Rick still in his minging outfit?

I'm liking Carol's hair. I wonder if they are 'prettying' her up for the next series when she and Daryl will finally get it on. She may have some competition from the newcomers though.

How old is carol supposed to be? I look at her and think fifties but I'm not sure if that's right.

she looks older because of her hair colour and style, but I don't think she is much older than Lori was - her face is quite young

In my mind Carole is in her late forties and daryl in his mid thirties, so she has herself a bit of a toyboyGrin

In real life Daryl (Norman) is 44 and Carol (Melissa) is almost 48.

Yes, Andrew is the prisoner who broke open a fence and set off the alarms to "call" the Walkers. So he's the reason Lori died as she was separated from Herschel.

In the comics Tyreese and Sasha are brother and sister, but they may go a different route in the show.

finally watched, have avoided this thread till know :)

tbh i thought ending was a bit naff :(

was puzzled why milton turned as stabbed Hmm, but think someone said they are all infected and when they die, they will return as zomblies no matter how they die-is that right

carl, kinda see his logic, tho did think he was a bit trigger happy, then again the bloke he shot should have put gun down asap

sad that andrea died, as in got bit, therefore she knew she would turn and therefore wanted to kill herself

guv went nutty Grin and if i were one of the other 2 men with him, i would have shot him - but where is he now, didnt go back to his home so the 3 of them are driving where/

seems no one wants to kill him, andrea and rick both had a chance and didnt, and neither did the above man even after watching him shot all their friends in cold blood

be lovely if darryl and carol got together, esp as she was with that abusive hubby of hers

so where will s 4 go - will they all move from the prison -or stay there, its safe, they have food and shelter and they know theres only 3 of them left, as the girl who didnt get shot told the 2 black guys (sorry cant rem their names, either gf/bf or siblings what had happened, so the 3 of them cant fight back now

Blondes yes, they are all infected whether they are bit or not so anyone who dies (without a significant injury to the head) will turn. That's why Merle turned too after being shot in the chest last week.

When Andrea and Michonne were hiding from the guv at the helicopter crash site they saw him stabbing / shooting all the men from the helicopter in the head. He later told them they all turn no matter how they die.

And in series 1 the scientist from the CDC told Rick the same just before he blew the place up.

I'd be scared to go to sleep in case someone popped their clogs in the night and started chuckling on my arm or something. Maybe the prison is the best place to be then. That way you could all lock yourself in a cell at night, just in case!

Me too Coco. I wanted Andrea to die, she was soo annoying but I felt that way from the beginning (although I vaguely remember a bit of sympathy when her sister got bit). So was all a bit of an anticlimax for me.

The ep before was way more moving IMO. Darryl finding Merle zombified and letting all his anger/grief out on his head.

Darryl crying- tried not to cry!

Darryl....

Really want him to be the one to end the Governor though get the feeling it might be stupid Rick -Or maybe Michonne?

Anyone here play videogames? The WD is coming out soon and you get to play as Darryl and his awesome crossbow.

Final episode had some good moments but overall I was disappointed with the ending.

The kid Carl shot didn't really do himself any favours as he should have thrown the gun down. The handing over the gun was taking far too long. Carl is a tough cookie and has become harden which you would expect.

I hate the Guv'nor and wanted his two cronies to take him out.

I was gutted Andrea got bit. Was hoping it might be more dramatic.

Still lusting admiring Daryl. Tho that motorbike must be hard to steer with those ridiculous handles.
