I need to discuss this episode in great detail!! Can someone who has seen it please comment on what you think is the best bit? Also did you think it was very sad?

Holy Crap is all I can say.
I actually screamed when you know who did that thing to you know him.
I had read a spoiler so I knew what the end scene would be and I knew who was going to die.
But damm. That was good.

When you know who did the thing to you know him, it's actually probably one of the most stomach churning moments of the show for me.

TV is going to be shite between now and February. But then we have 8 more episodes to look forward to. And then Game of Thrones starts at the end of March to fill the void that TWD will leave in my viewing schedule.

So, that last scene at the end, is the Governor really pissed off with Merle about Michonne or is it a double deception to somehow gain entry to the prison? And how gobsmacked was Andrea?

I think given what Michonne did, he's genuinely pissed off at Merle. Although I don't think he believes that Merle was in cahoots with Daryl all along.

Loved Glenn's improvisation of a weapon and he way he handed it over to Maggie. Is that the equivalent of saying it with flowers in a post apocalyptic world?

Oh and rofl at poor Oscar. We knew he was done for from the 1st scene, didn't we!? There was another black guy in town! (New black guy played Mike (I think) in The Wire. Great actor and Mike was a brilliant character.)

Yes, I see the one black guy at a time quota is being strictly enforced.

Tyrese was pretty awesome in the comics.
Carl was pretty good this episode. And rofl that Carol is not a lesbian.

Serious question: Do you think she has a set of clippers in her backpack?
And do you think the shine is beginning to come off the Govnah for Andrea?

I still don't think the penny has fully dropped yet with Andrea that the Guvnor is as mad as a bag of snakes...but she's getting there. I think she wants to believe his propaganda but it's bloody hard to find a plausible explanation for a wall of fish tanks full of severed heads and a zombie daughter in the cupboard.

OMFG! Just as well they showed the wee trailer for the next episode so that we see who is still alive.

I freakin LOVE Michonne (and Daryl but that's a given)

Oh, and I was rather pleased to see Shane looking hot back for a Rick flashback this week.

aspiemum -I think I'm the only person who enjoyed series 2 much more than series 1. The Sophia storyline bored my dh senseless, but I loved the build up, suspense and horrifying outcome.

I just watched the episode and ended up hyperventilating until my sister watched it in a different country and called me for post match analysis.
I was soooooo worried Andrea was going to kill Glenn or Maggie. You just knew that when Philip told her to make sure everyone was tucked up safely in bed she was going to go rogue and try to shoot people.

Why was Michonne so keen to kill the Governor? That scene where he begs for his little girl's life and the katana goes through her eye..... Wow.

The whole episode had me on the edge of my seat. I was literally sitting there clutching my bag of popcorn going 'no, no, no..... no, no, shiiiit, DARRYL!!!!!

I can't WAIT till February.

Carl is officially my hero these days. I had a minute where I almost wished Lori back to life so she could freak out at the thought of him alone in those tunnels.

I like the way the new guy understood that they were safe in that locked room and told his wife/partner/buddy to calm down. Hopefully it will mean the rest of them will realise they can be a good addition to the group.

Glen is awesome. Carol knocking back the pervy inmate was awesome.

Shit to freaky Governor. I like that the last image was scientist guy/ Alicia Florrick's brother looking a bit scared.

I switched off before the preview so am not sure what they are going for but I would be worried if I were in that prison right now...

FANTASTIC episode. I wonder what's going to happen to Daryl and Merle now? The Governor wants revenge for what Michonne did, especially since Merle lied about killing her.
I'm glad Maggie and Glen are ok, I was worried one of them was going to get killed off.
By the looks of the trailer Andrea is still with the Governor. Ok, keeping a zombie daughter might be just about understandable but do you really want to be with someone who keeps tanks of heads?

Why did Andrea not say something at the end to stick up for Daryl? I thought they were friends?

I'm not Andrea's biggest fan but not sure what she could say in the presence of the completely crazy governor and everyone else hyped up and baying for blood

Well she could say 'hold on I know him, let's hear him out'. Then Darryl can explain exactly why he showed up and tell her all about tortured Glen and Maggie.

anon - how could she possibly say that in front of the governor and all those people? She would be thrown to the walkers herself! And, to be fair to her, the scene cut straight after his speech, so, for all we know, she may have a quiet word with the governor in the next episode. Also, her head must be spinning with all that has just happened. She has just discovered her new lover is keeping live zombie heads in tanks and now one of her old group - who she probably thought was dead - has turned up.

I'm not a huge fan of Andrea, but she is probably a more realistic character than Michonne. Michonne is a heroine, a warrior - but, honestly, how many Michonnes would we meet in the zombie apocalypse? I bet most of us would be more like Andrea and heave a huge sigh of relief at finding ourselves in Woodbury with a fanciable man in charge who has taken a shine to us.

Did anyone notice if Glenn and Maggie ever used their walker-bone weapons? (Loved Harlett's reference to this being like saying it with flowers in the post-apocalyptic world ).
