does anyone else find it really odd that dalziel is always with the ladies and pascoe isn't??

Dalziel is ugly but he's amusing. Pascoe is a miserable git

Dalziel is like a bulldog. I think Pascoe is eyeing up the female dutch dectective.

I'm still wondering why they thought they'd contact WEst Yorkshire police about at Sheffield Wednesday fan. Should be South Yorkshire.

I reckon it was that Dutch cheif that did it.

I think that's standard practice it is the same in Frost and Morse (can't remember taggart getting any ladies though!)

But he has more appealing about his character imho

And he has sence of humour

I quite like Peter Pascoe

I saw the guy who plays Pascoe in something else and he was just as miserable in that, exactly the same in fact.

Well Pascoe got his end away last night. Without even smiling once!

Mind you the woman he did it with was quite dour too.

The only time Pascoe smiled was right at the end when Andy's cash card got swallowed up.

Mind you I had a fling with a really miserable guy once. It's not completely devoid of fun, you can take the piss something rotten!

Michael French just happened to go from being a pharmacist in Yorkshire, getting out of jail for murder and ended up in Holland involved in diamond smuggling???

The "love scene" with Pascoe and Anna was spectacularly cringeworthy.

I know ewwwwww, it was only put in to stop us thinking Pascoe is boring. Which he is

the dutch accented english just kept me thinking of the Fast Show sketches etc...couldn't really take it seriously

I love Dalziel and Pascoe but it is getting more and more far-fetched.

Pascoe only has two expressions, blank and a kind of disgusted bug-eyed disbelief.

No wonder his wife went off to Australia.
