Dalziel is ugly but he's amusing. Pascoe is a miserable git Grin

Fimbo · 28/03/2006 12:19

Dalziel is like a bulldog. I think Pascoe is eyeing up the female dutch dectective.

purpleturtle · 28/03/2006 12:38

I'm still wondering why they thought they'd contact WEst Yorkshire police about at Sheffield Wednesday fan. Should be South Yorkshire.

MrsDoolittle · 28/03/2006 12:39

I reckon it was that Dutch cheif that did it.
Nasty piece of work!

RTKangaMummy · 28/03/2006 12:47

I like Dalziel {I read somewhere that he had a face like he had swallowed a bee}

I think Pascoe is miserable too

The dutch chief is dodgy IMHO too

zippitippitoes · 28/03/2006 12:52

I think that's standard practice it is the same in Frost and Morse (can't remember taggart getting any ladies though!)

nutcracker · 28/03/2006 12:52

Dalziel reminds me of a pitt bull.

RTKangaMummy · 28/03/2006 12:53

Warren Clarke directed last nights show too Smile

But he has more appealing about his character imho

And he has sence of humour

MrsDoolittle · 28/03/2006 14:17

I quite like Peter Pascoe

Caribbeanqueen · 28/03/2006 14:23

I saw the guy who plays Pascoe in something else and he was just as miserable in that, exactly the same in fact.

MrsDoolittle · 28/03/2006 22:24

Was I right or was I right? Grin

Caribbeanqueen · 28/03/2006 22:26

Can't read any more as I won't get to see tonight's bit till the weekend!

twokids · 28/03/2006 22:27

you were right:o

RTKangaMummy · 28/03/2006 22:28

Deffo Brill, Chief had an awful hair style as well

Grin
anorak · 29/03/2006 08:41

Well Pascoe got his end away last night. Without even smiling once!

Mind you the woman he did it with was quite dour too.

The only time Pascoe smiled was right at the end when Andy's cash card got swallowed up.

Mind you I had a fling with a really miserable guy once. It's not completely devoid of fun, you can take the piss something rotten!

cackle!

welshboris · 29/03/2006 12:07

DIdnt anyone think this was the most far fetched, prepostorous (sp) storyline ever?

Michael French just happened to go from being a pharmacist in Yorkshire, getting out of jail for murder and ended up in Holland involved in diamond smuggling???

Then dalziel and pascoe happen to go to a conference in the same area??

Bonkers

Fimbo · 29/03/2006 12:18

And he was performing miracle operations in Holby just minutes before - LOL Grin

The "love scene" with Pascoe and Anna was spectacularly cringeworthy.

welshboris · 29/03/2006 12:20

I know ewwwwww, it was only put in to stop us thinking Pascoe is boring. Which he is

bundle · 29/03/2006 12:22

the dutch accented english just kept me thinking of the Fast Show sketches etc...couldn't really take it seriously Wink

anorak · 29/03/2006 12:57

I love Dalziel and Pascoe but it is getting more and more far-fetched.

Pascoe only has two expressions, blank and a kind of disgusted bug-eyed disbelief.

No wonder his wife went off to Australia.

MamaG · 29/03/2006 13:00

pmsl at face like he swallowed a bee Grin

nutcracker · 29/03/2006 13:14

I like Pascoe, wouldn't care if he was smiling or not Grin
