Welcome again to another thread that worships the daytime soap 'Doctors'.

Feel free to join in, jump in and ask about any abbreviations.

Orderly queues are needed for those that want to:

  • slap Cherry (it's a long queue. No pushing at the back please)
  • help Jimmi out with his wire brush and Dettol routine
  • shag befriend Kevin, Howard or Daniel (one queue for each man and no swapping)
  • bet on which wig Mrs T will be wearing each day

The waiting room is empty (as usual). Take a seat.

Grin

I didn't understand any of that. But ULM has gone and tomorrow's looks to be a corker. Grin

Raahh · 01/11/2012 20:32

I am just catching up. It is very unnerving to see how busy the police station is without Gobby.

Pity Freya wasn't still around to write an angry blog about the beauty pageant.

Raahh · 01/11/2012 20:35

So, the purpose of Hobbit man a.k.a ULM was to make us miss Cherry, I reckon. Cos it is nearly workingShock

Raahh · 01/11/2012 20:36

flashbacksHmm

Raahh · 01/11/2012 20:43

I like Lisa- definitely wasted in this episode. Lisa to win Strictly!shit tv cross-over

I hope the writers haven't been reading this thread and thinking we don't like properly wtf storylines We NEED properly wtf storylines. We do not need to see any more of the likes of ULM!

Raahh · 01/11/2012 20:48

What a dick Franklin isHmm

Raahh · 01/11/2012 20:52

lots of baby related storylines of late.

Oh,gawd, when I was at work,I hated team building shit.

Sparklingbrook · 01/11/2012 20:58

That team building episode tomorrow had better be-

a) Hilarious
b) WTF-massively

Or I will be flouncing from the thread. I have had enough this week. Abortions, mental health, poisonous cakes and the wasted opportunity of the Halloween soiree. And today's baby disappearance whatever. Angry

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 01/11/2012 21:08

I've never watched it for more than a few episodes at a time until this last few weeks, but honestly, I remember it as being much better than this, good patient-led storylines with the staff stuff gong on in the background. The first episode I watched this time round was the one where the woman was running a brothel with teenage girls in her home, that was pretty good, but it's been downhill ever since.

toldmywrath · 01/11/2012 21:15

Biscuit I like your interpretation of MIFLAW's name! I've got issues with my mil too!
Welcome MIFLAW-I didn't know that men watched this voluntarily!

Raahh · 01/11/2012 21:17

ahh, now patient-led is not something we have been used to of lateGrin

Sparkling- we need bleached fish and over priced handbags. It's the only way Grin

Raahh · 01/11/2012 21:21

It sucks you in....and never lets you go. Like the Hotel California.

Sparklingbrook · 01/11/2012 21:21

I am thinking that the writers had holiday cover in over the summer and they are the episodes we are seeing now. they probably just left a Post It note saying 'Write whatever-it really doesn't matter, we will invent some stories when we get back to put it right'. Grin

terrywoganstrousers · 01/11/2012 21:23

You're right. I was busy yesterday, just realised I watched two episodes back to back. Must read thread properlyBlush

Raahh · 01/11/2012 21:23

Sparkling- you may be right. Grin

Sparklingbrook · 01/11/2012 21:26

Raahh · 01/11/2012 21:33

WhoKnowsWhereTheTimeGoes · 01/11/2012 21:43

You wouldn't get much actual experience of work though would you?

Raahh · 01/11/2012 21:47
Shock

are we implying they are rubbish writers??Grin

MIFLAW · 02/11/2012 11:28

" at men watching voluntarily.

How true. I first started watching as a functioning alcoholic. I had a job at Camden Road train station and the caff where I went for lunch/hangover recovery had it on the TV.

Year later, sober, happily married, a new career, I glimpsed it again one day when I was off sick.

It is like crack to the cocaine that is Casualty.

BiscuitNibbler · 02/11/2012 13:48
