Glenn didn't know that lori had been eaten when he started digging the graves only rick knows that, so I'm guessing that's why such big graves! Smile

HarlettOScara · 20/11/2012 17:55

That's what I said too. They were damn big holes for precious little remains. T-Dog was a pile of bones and Lori no more than a gunky smear on the floor. What a waste of time and energy.

HarlettOScara · 20/11/2012 17:58

Fair enough about Lori...but they'd seen T-Dog's remains and must have assumed that Carol had met the same fate hence accepting that her finding her scarf beside T-Dog meant that she was dead too (with no remains evident).

wintera · 20/11/2012 18:05

It's all very icky isn't it! Yuck! But yes it didn't really make sense that the graves were such big holes I agree but as someone has mentioned Glenn probably thought there would be a body for Lori. And there would have been one too if that greedy bastard hadn't filled his boots! The sight of that little Lori pot belly still makes me feel quite ill!

I am very intrigued about Carol though. Where the bloody hell is she?

BlingLoving · 20/11/2012 19:55

Well, I think a deep hole is a good thing - you want them far enough under ground they don't rot and stink you out and attract walkers! Grin

JKSLtd · 20/11/2012 21:29

Thinking this over as you do.

Lori was eaten, when she was dead, but perhaps not 'turned'.
Would this mean that all dead people would get eaten? Why don't the zombies eat each other? Are they 'too' dead for even their tastes?!

When I watched it I thought that Carl hasn't shot her and she'd dragged herself along the floor so maybe rick was going to find her still just alive.

SilverSky · 21/11/2012 22:16

Evening all,

Thought the daughter walker was grim and unsettling. Didn't spot her having a snack thank gawd.

Micchone is clearly very sensible and Andrea is going to find herself in deep shit at some point if she stays in Woodbury. The fight scene made me feel uneasy too.

The empty nursery was awful. Particularly the handprints on the wall. So glad it was a possum or something in the cupboard. So how long will two tubs of formula last? Not long if they keep making up bottles of that size!

Darryl with the baby was lovely. Very cute. Hope they don't call it Lori!!!!!

So who is Penny? What were all the lines in the book? All the folk that have been killed?

HarlettOScara · 22/11/2012 01:13

Penny is the governor's walker daughter.

AWimbaWay · 22/11/2012 11:42

Is anyone else finding Daryl's bad hair dye upsetting, picky I know but I'm sure he didn't have such daft hair in the first series.

SilverSky, I just took the lines in the book to be mad scribblings to show The Governor has lost the plot.

ToffeeWhirl · 22/11/2012 11:54

Didn't notice the bad hair dye, AWimba - was distracted by the face and body, I think Wink.

I'm sure the lines in the book mean something. Maybe how many days Penny has been a zombie. Perhaps he is giving her something that the scientist hopes will cure zombies and he is waiting for a sign that she is recovering? Each line shows that there is no sign yet.

That bit where is was combing her hair and.... well, it was so upsetting and revolting I had to make DH pause the programme.

ToffeeWhirl · 22/11/2012 11:55

he was ....

SilverSky · 22/11/2012 15:47

The combing hair bit reminded me of that scene in The Others with the veiled person.

I'm not sure why he is keeping the heads and I'm not convinced Merle's reasons for catching up with Daryl are entirely non threatening.

HarlettOScara · 22/11/2012 15:54

Merle is going to want to settle some scores for being abandoned on that rooftop.

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/11/2012 16:10

and having to chop his hand off

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 22/11/2012 16:30

He didnt have to chop his hand off, just his thumb would have done... Grin

Blondeshavemorefun · 22/11/2012 18:18

Guess that depends on the size of his hand. I have small wrists so wouldn't fit through handcuffs just cutting my thumb off

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 22/11/2012 22:52

It has to be right down at the bottom thumb joint, then apparently everyones hands would fit through a handcuff on their wrist (this may be a myth though!). Although I'd certainly try it if I were Merle Grin

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 22/11/2012 22:53

I guess even if you had to take off say your thumb and little finger though, it would still be less likely to kill you that the whole hand?

BeyondTheLimitsOfAcceptability · 22/11/2012 22:53

*than the whole hand

Blondeshavemorefun · 23/11/2012 11:56

Shall we try it beyond Grin

FivesAndNorks · 23/11/2012 11:57

Woo hoo 10h to wait. Where are all the people who watch it early? I love the veiled hints, builds the suspense

HarlettOScara · 23/11/2012 13:11

We're on the spoiler thread so we don't inadvertently ruin it for all you patient law abiding people :)

WickedGirl · 23/11/2012 14:19

Tonight's one is fab......can't wait until you all get to catch up

KateByChristmas · 23/11/2012 22:11

Anyone watching? Smile

Moominsarescary · 23/11/2012 22:13
