The judges do seem to be treating VP a bit like a spoilt child who musn't be told off.

The judges seem to failed to understand, yet again, that anton is a god and must be retained in the competition for as long as possible regardless of how talented (or not) his partner is.

Do the judges think they can't criticise VP because she was the golden girl in the summer?

Glad to see Jerry gone but sorry to see the back of Anton, will miss his beautiful ballroom.

VP is used to getting her own way and she will do it by any means possible. The tears are all part of her plan, don't be fooled.

I watched a documentary with VP before the Olympics and she is a very emotional/fragile person. Who wants to go down in history as the one who destroyed the self esteem of an Olympic champion? None of the judges that's for sure.

They got Antonio to go because of his other commitments I think. Erin will go next week.

Can't say I'm sorry to see the back of Jerry though. Micheal or Richard needs to be next.

Has Anton ever had a partner who was in with a chance of winning? I ask coz I never watched the first 2 or 3 series.

He finished 3rd with Lesley Garrett in Series 1 and Patsy Kensit was reasonable. All his other partners have had 2 left feet.

I keep thinking that they give him people who are likely to go out soon so that he can fill in for Brucie if he decides to stop mid-series.

By the way, does anyone else cringe when Bruce mauls hugs various women? I just think it is revolting to watch and Tess in particular seems to cringe when he touches her. It reminds me (horrible to say) of the recent clips of Jimmy Saville clutching young girls as they are interviewed on TOTP.
