Is anyone watching American Idol - Friday eve on ITV2 & repeated many times throughout the weekend. Who do we like to win?

apparently there was controversy over the voting this week.

People voting for a certain person were getting another contestant thanking them for voting

lot of unhappy voters in the USA and didn't he looked stunned!

Chris ahs real star quality, I think Taylor will win now, neither of the other two can compete, in terms of personality or marketability.

so here we go again! American Idol is actually finishing a week earlier than last year cos we were away over half term and missed the finale - how's that for dedication!

So how many songs do they sing tonight? JoolsToo, don't tell me who has gone.....

No. Dh thought he would go. So surprised Taylor has got this far. Tbh, I'm not raving about either Katharine or Taylor. Don't feel strongly about either of them this year.

Wish I'd seen the one with Kelly Clarkson - have her CD in teh car atm adn it's fabbo

yes WCL it's taylor and kat. would have prefered elliott and chris myself, but imo the top 4 were all very strong but v different styles and i think it comes down now to what type of people are watching and voting.
still excited to see the final next week cos it's usually a good show, all top 12 on etc...

I think Kat was lucky they didn't vote based on her performance of Think in the results show - that was completely the wrong song for her!

wow, what a show. dh started off moaning 'how are they going to make 'the winner is...' into a 2 hour show?' but blimey they know how don't they!!!.
thought on the whole the idols sang better than the pros, meatloaf and toni braxton particularly poor imo.
absolutely loved that clay wannabe's face when clay came on - thought he was going to spontaneously combust
although i have always prefered kat, i must say i thought taylor's winners song was better.
can't wait for next series...
