Is it wrong that most days I end up reading the thread before I get a chance to watch, then chuckle to myself when I come across the bits in the actual programme you have all been talking about?

I am new here. In recent week (not a typo) I have found myself fascinated by That Man's Eyebrows. I suspect you are likening him to Eddie Munster. His comedy suits, the mad receptionist. the mad lady doctor throwing her mobile around in terror cos some maniac is ringing her. the beefy copper who will take no crap...fancy him I do. A host of other unmentionables. what has happened to me, someone help!

You will be totally bewildered in no time.

Its what occured to me as I watched it. each episode bore little or no relation to the prebvious one. One minute some one is being nearly killed by a psycho husband and the next like nothing fucking happened! I am on painkillers 24/7 and Doctors is like a sort of stimulus. It lures you in doesn't it.
She has a gob on her hasn't she? why must she wear such red lipstick? But the eyebrow man is priceless. priceless

Well, have managed to catch a few episodes this week - including some extra wtf-ness (red button specials) .

Oh yes, it's brilliant. Unexplained storylines, pointless storylines, we never fully understand any episode but that kind of adds to the appeal.

Most episodes feature no patients, at least one unnecessary home visit, and Beefy (the only copper in Leatherbridge is seems) turning up. Then a sub plot that is totally unexplainable.

Is eyebrow man TBFE? (The Bloke From Emmerdale - Howard/Ian Kelsey).

Agree with sparkling that GobbyPlod lacks lips.

And yes, the wonder of Doctors often means each episode bears no relation to the last one. It's like a lucky dip! You never know what you will get.
