Is my love for 'Doctors' waning? I have 2 episodes on my planner - will I miss anything in deleting them and watching todays?

yesterday was the first part of a two parter- but, in a nut shell
-Immie has a friend who lives with a copper who works with Gobby plod.
-they meet for a drink, friend shows Immie burn marks, but says she did it at college.
-later she tells her that the copper beats her up, and they go to the police.
-copper has convinced everyone that his girlfriend is a lying nutter, and no-one believes the girl. Immie believes the copper and he gives her a lift home.
-Immie smells a rat when he takes the girls door key, but then complains when she hasn't got her key
-from today's ep, looks like copper kidnaps Immie.
Sadly, I think she gets rescued.

or something a bit like that.

Ok I have a confession. I've not watched any this week and no chance of catching up as we are going away tomorrow. So I've read this thread/digital spy and am hoping I can understand today's forgets that being caught up isn't a guarantee you can understand Doctors

had to go out, and just back, so will wizz through the first 10 mins to catch up..

Dh half watched with me and kept making insane comments like ' why don't they call the police re the dead body ' and 'why doesn't that girl phone the doctors , they aren't doing anything'

He seemed to expect them to behave like real life doctors/police.

Just watched today's. The best bit was the highlights of what's coming up tomorrow. The farm looked suspiciously like one that's been in it before - was it the one Jimmi was kidnapped in or another storyline? Is tomorrow the big reveal? Must have a look at the spoilers, don't think I've read them this week.

Yes, madhairday, the Immie storyline finished. He didn't kidnap her, but she went to see her friend because she knew she had been telling the truth.

In brief: She broke into her friend's house by bashing down the door (door was evidently very flimsy). Friend very badly beaten up, Immie calls ambulance. Psycho cop comes in, says he is arresting Immie for break-in and murder if friend dies and everyone will believe him not her. Gobbyplod arrives, calls for back up. Psycho cop has Immie in a headlock and tells Gobbyplod he will kill her if he doesn't cancel the call for back up and let him go. Gobbyplod agrees, but Immie then somehow manages to elbow him in his nether regions, he falls and Gobbyplod cuffs him. Friend then seen in hospital so did not die.

Well, that was...interesting viewing.

at Karen's hair (and she really shouldn't wear polo necks). Very unflattering.

What are they doing with Kevin? His hair is bizarre and they put him in a turd-brown suit!

at the storyline for the last two episodes. They should have a warning about DV being shown imho . But I've always got the 'off' button so it's my own fault for watching.

I've been offline for 10 weeks, BT Openreach at their best! Been watching Doctors tho and am giddy with joy about the 3 characters who are being axed, although disappointed that Tembe is staying, she does my head in.
