Eastenders - Jay.

Am I the only one who feels extremely sorry for Jay?

His Dad gets murdered, he was actually kidnapped within that. He is close with billy and the Mitchells and begins to feel relatively normal again and then this happens. I don't actually think there is any maliciousness from Jay, not one iota even though he was there at the time. It was Ben and Phil manipulating him. Even Phil was just protecting his son and was disgusted by what happened, which is rare for Phil.

I just found myself crying on tonights episode where he told Shirley he wanted his Dad. So real and heartbreaking, I burst into tears. He is pretty innocent and even after some not so nice things his Dad has done and the people he has been near have done, he's never actually hurt anyone, has he?

I just want to cuddle with, give him a Brew and Biscuit and be his big sister!

Oh i just want to hold him to my ample bosom and stroke his head. Poor dear, he really tugged at my heartstrings tonight. I know it's telly but I'm praying for a happy storyline for him.

Haha yup I know it's not real. But for me to enjoy soaps, books etc I have to 'get into the persona' so to speak. It makes it more powerful and enjoyable and yet makes the sadness/happiness much more real :)

I think Shirley will hide the frame, then change her mind... But how will she be able to prove that Ben did it? Maybe she convinces Jay to turn Ben in?

Well yes, it's pretty much a minefield of fingerprints.

I think Ben wiped it with the cloth. I don't know what happened to the cloth though?

I know, so do I :o

that's it! I'm reaching into the telly and pulling the lovely Jay out. And slapping a few heads for being horrible to him while i'm there. He can stay in the spare room and i will cook him lovely meals.

Good riddance, Ben.

The only redeeming quality of Ben is he's trying to protect his Dad and Jay, which like Phil said to Shirley yesterday, 'He has a bit of good left in him' He was right in that aspect.

But he needed to do this to change himself. It may make him worse, it may make him better. But nobody could just forget what he did and live as a little family again, nothing could stay the same.

Oh I'm watching the bit with billy. It hurts my heart why will no one help him?? Billy is such a bastard. That poor boy with his skinny legs Sad

I love how he wipes his face with his sleeves - its so teenagery. And those tears, do youthink they're real? He's just amazing.
