Am I the only one who feels extremely sorry for Jay?

His Dad gets murdered, he was actually kidnapped within that. He is close with billy and the Mitchells and begins to feel relatively normal again and then this happens. I don't actually think there is any maliciousness from Jay, not one iota even though he was there at the time. It was Ben and Phil manipulating him. Even Phil was just protecting his son and was disgusted by what happened, which is rare for Phil.

I just found myself crying on tonights episode where he told Shirley he wanted his Dad. So real and heartbreaking, I burst into tears. He is pretty innocent and even after some not so nice things his Dad has done and the people he has been near have done, he's never actually hurt anyone, has he?

I just want to cuddle with, give him a and and be his big sister!

Thing is chickens I often fall in to the trap of liking billy, but then DP reminds me that he use to beat Jamie an then I think "hmmm. Yes he is a nasty worm."

I get the feeling too that he will be framed, but then Ben in real life is going to prison I think? So he has to leave the programme too.

Is he?! What's he done? And, incidentally, am I the only one who thinks he looks like the back of a spoon? I liked old Ben. He was annoying and couldn't act. Perfect.

I think we should organise a MN Eastender's boycott if they dare to get rid of Jay :o

its so sad, the two people who took on the role of dad for him abandon him in favour of their own flesh and blood, highlighting the fact that he is just a little orphan boy, who has no one to care for him, no one to rely on.

I just realised that I don't know if he is actually going to prison, or of in fact he did anything??? I must have seen a headline... I'm sure I saw something about him sexually assaulting someone?

Brilliant acting from Jay - and I've been quite impressed with Shirley too, she can be a bit hammy, but I've loved her during this.

I am recording tonights I wonder what shirley will do now ? she should take jay and run as far away from the mitchells as poss.
