Just read that Katya Virshilas isn't returning to the show, a new dancer Karen Hauer is taking her place.

Who will be in this year's line up?

I still haven't watched last night's, found Darcy's style of speech quite irritating tonight though. Surprisingly so as I thought she'd be fab. Thought I was just being picky.

Oh Aitch. fwiw I'd been on this and these threads for a v long time. I didn't say it wasn't irritating for some. I'd said it didn't 'drown out' all of the seemingly useful advice she was giving out. Maybe I'm just easier about other people's speech habits, and take them in my stride. I just thought it was unfair and said so.

Caught up. Can't remember everyone. Liked Sid, Lisa and Louis. Probably liked some more of them, I just can't remember. I admired Louis' splits.

Bruce's joke about Dani was sick-making. He needs to go. I used to think they were waiting to move Anton into the Bruce role, but I'm not sure now.

I loved Lisa. We are not dissimilar physical shapes and it was fantastic to see her get out there and show how it's done.

I liked Sid but otherwise didnt really get into it last night

I think this year its starting to bother me fast forwarding through all the Bruce /Tess stuff because it just makes it all disjointed instead of really relaxing and getting into it but their presenting is terrible and I truly wonder how the BBC can allow this on such a major show.

Hopefully as I start to engage with some of the celebs I will be ok

I know what you mean getting. Zipping through for the best bits doesn't make for a relaxing televisual experience. But then neither does watching Bruce and Tess.

I have watched Lisa's dance again. First time I have ever done that. At first I thought she was over marked , but on second viewing perhaps not. Easily the best and given points that had been awarded so far, her marks were appropriate.

Just caught up after working so I am terribly late to the party.

Noted that Craig still loves thumbs. He would be well impressed with mine. I have improved my lines so that I may land a thumb on the fastforward button without looking in order to avoid the 'yes and yahyah' fest.

I think Tess struggles being paired with Bruce. He is SO past it now and she just has to play the giggling foil - awful for her.

I liked Lisas dance but also couldn't believe Craig's 8 - he NEVER gives anything away. So, I rewatched too. It was very good indeed and she has really consistent energy. Go Lisa.

In comparison, I was a bit disappointed in Louis, but only because I had him likely to be the best (with perhaps DVO - but she doesn't count for me). I think he has great capacity to improve and may also be great in the ballroom because he has such great posture naturally. I don't like the inclusion of splits etc, it is not necessary but maybe Flavia thinks it will bring in the voters.

I also liked Sid's dance but wait and see what his latin is like.

So, currently, I am backing Lisa and Louis but the jury is still out because it is very early days indeed.

I think that sums it up for me Kez. We haven't seen Lisa do ballroom yet but I really hope she is just fabulous in everything.

I have to discount DVO and Jerry Hall.

Wonder who will be doing the tour. Usually have to buy tickets before we know.

Sparkling - I've already got tickets for the tour! I go to watch the pros as much as the slebs.

I have been the last 3 years but not sure if i will go next year. I do want to know who is dancing really.
