I know the Yvonne Elliman version (obviously) and i love that, because I loved her stuff. Her cover of 'Love me' by the BeeGees is one of my favourite songs, oddly.

All i can hear in my head is mel C doing her Bryan Adams duet, with it's toe curling rhymes. It puts me off.

I don't mind him not being massively rocky. Jesus is a bit of a still centre in the show (apart from Gethsemane) so I think he'll suit the part quite well.
