nah - she was doomed from the start. Yuk Syed or Michelle to go next week.

DH said today that they're both a couple, is that true?

has poodle chops gone then? can i punch the air in smug celebration

WideWebWitch · 29/03/2006 22:09

I thought Jo deserved to go. I'm not sure why used car manager thought Ansell was so awful, I thought he did an ok job. Ruth finally came into her own and was fab I thought. Samuel had a narrow escape really. Jo and Ruth ha ha didn't even pretend to kiss, v funny. Scottish woman is HORRIBLE, I detest her for no really good reason, I have hated her from the start. Sayed is a tosser too.

Senoracod · 29/03/2006 22:16

think tulip hoped to wind it in with big norks
but no will not happen

unicorn · 29/03/2006 22:40

well...
I'm sad to see Jo go, I think some of those blokes are slimeballs who are great at stabbing in the back, and those other women are characterless and (apart from Ruth) have no dynamism.

Because someone is passionate/eccentric and stands out a bit they become easy prey- a round peg in a square hole.

I think it is a shame and very predictable.

speedymama · 30/03/2006 09:11

Jo should have gone from the second week when she demonstrated her awful man management skills and was very quick to blame Karen for failing to purchase the tyre when really, she should have accepted the blame for that task. On the plus side she has energy, enthusiasm and passion. On the other hand she does not listen, she has no empathy with anyone, she is deluded about her own abilities, she is a major control freak, she becomes too obsessed with the minutiae of a task instead of looking at the big picture, her mannerisms are too boorish which makes people want to run a mile from her which is no good for business.

Personally, I think she is a manic depressive and in the wrong business, she would be a major liability.

zippitippitoes · 30/03/2006 09:27

speedymama I wa s agreeing until your last sentence Shock

speedymama · 30/03/2006 13:14

Sorry, I did not mean for it to sound the way it came out and certainly did not mean to cause offenceBlush. I work with someone who is a manic depressive and she reminds me of him. He had to be moved to a role that was more suitable for him which involved less pressure because he kept breaking down.

I have no doubt that Jo is good at what she does because to hold the senior position she held requires gravitas and competency. However, I suspect that some roles are more suited to her personality than others.

Sorry again for any offence causedBlush.

milward · 30/03/2006 13:17

I couldn't believe the high heels Sharon was wearing for a day selling cars!! - she's the worst on the show imho.

zippitippitoes · 30/03/2006 13:18

Smile speedy

I agree that she did seem somewhat... wired.. into the mains

I can't imagine her with gravitas, don't know much about mg river tbh

Normsnockers · 30/03/2006 13:20

Speedymama,

Your post earlier today makes me feel much happier about killing stone dead the Jo Cameron website thread the other day with my character assassination of her and conclusion that I'd rather ram sharp items into my fingertips than have to work with her in any capacity whatsoever.

RTKangaMummy · 30/03/2006 13:21

\link{http://urhired.co.uk\Jo was on BBC Breakfast this morning and this is her new business}

Good luck to her Smile

zippitippitoes · 30/03/2006 13:25

iota · 30/03/2006 13:37

she really should spellcheck her site.

so far I've spotted

borne instead of born

caldron instead of cauldron

phsycologist instead of psychologist

speedymama · 30/03/2006 13:41

Oh my goodness! Didn't Sir Alan say at the beginning that this show was not about finding fame on TVGrin? Well, she might as well milk her 15 minutes of fame. I would love to see a debate on how to design a commercially viable political calender with her and George Galloway as team leaders and Jeremy Paxman as the ajudicatorGrinGrinGrin.

On Jo's team there would be Ruth, Syed and "I'm a world class presenter.......not" Manni.

On Gorgeous George's team there would be Preston, Chantelle and Pete BurnsGrinGrinGrin.

Somehow, I think Jeremy Paxman would rather tear his finger nails out than be in the same room with such a sorry bunchGrin.

speedymama · 30/03/2006 14:55

So, next week I would like to see "Twin Peaks" Michelle or "The Embodiment of Non-Entities" Samuel to be given the boot. To be honest, I'm astounded that they manage to survive longer than "I'm a world class presenter" Manni. Manni was irritating but he was far more competent than those pathetic, clueless wooden tops.

I think the last 3 will be between Ruth, Syed and the large guy who project managed last week.
