Yes Brookside was great- It went very wtf at the end though. Will Doctors be suspended during the Olympics? Also, perhaps Freya will live & be reinstated because of her heroic deeds. Altho' I hope she does not survive

i don't think it's on again now til the horses and the tennis has finished Grockle. We will have to make our own entertainment.

I started Watching Brookside (again) at the end for the last few weeks. Boarded up cul de sac! Also v WTF!

I never watched brookside. I feel I may have missed out

However i did watch eastenders religiously but gave it up about 10 years ago... am being tempted back by the current trailers!!!

I think Mrs Tembe should have her own spin off series, a sort of 'Murder she wrote' kind of thing. She could spend her time solving all the crimes that Gobby plod hasn't got time for. She's super nosey, it would be her perfect job. Like Miss Marple.

I'm going to spend the next 3 weeks steam cleaning my beanbag. I may have it re-covered in Wimbledon colours, or possibly Team GB...

Brookside was great, but it did lose it's way. And it did inflict the simpering form of Anna Friel on the world. That is A BAD THING(but I remember being hooked on the whole body under the patio/trial thing!)

Mrs T and Doc-tah Cah-tah would make a great crime solving partnership. She can do the brain work and he can carry a cricket bat for threatening purposes.

• What is it with Kevin and his parenthood issues?

So many questions but I'm bored and pondering whether it is naff to put my bunting back up for the duration of the Olympics - when they start of course

I think a warning needs to go to the women of Leatherbridge about Kevin. It is clearly not safe to be his girlfriend. One was strangled and the other barbecued. He needs to move to Midsummer.

Louisa-very true! I think Leatherbridge and Midsomer are very similar- they both only have one law enforcement officer, who seems to get in on everything!

They are the kind of places nobody should live - Letherbridge, Midsomer, Albert Square, Coronation St...

Agreed, Kevin should have a health warning stamped on his head (if he's still alive) but I would still snog him anyway . If he was alive I mean, not if he was dead. That would just be wrong
