I get now that Amanda realised that Emily was on her side.

There was a look between Nolan and the Japanese guy. But why did the sensai not answer Emily's phone.

And I wondered if Dopey Dan was looking so stunned because he knew the truth, or because someone had maybe bopped him on the head.

Will need to watch on 4od, when I'm not so tired

Wow! So didn't see that twist coming! Daniel knows all and will be arrested for Tyler's murder. That was not in Emily's plan.

I wasn't expecting to end up back at the shooting so soon - were there any clues last week? (I suppose the beach shooting is an engagement party but even so). But I do hope next week might tell the same sequence of events from another point of view!

I too am confused.
I am not sure why Amanda ran from Jack, from the boat when she kissed him then ran. Why did she have blood on her? . I am not convinced by Tribpot's ( sorry Tribpot) theory that Amanda ran to save Emily, realising that she had been wrong about Emily. She is not wrong about Emily. Tyler told Amanda that Emily had taken her for a fool. And that all Emily cared about was herself. This is true. Tyler didn't say anything to Daniel or Amanda, about Emily, that was wrong or untrue. Tyler had Emily down to a T. What he said about Emily is true.

Why when Jack rescued Amanda on the beach, did she then leave, to go back out to the truck? and why was it sensei who picked her up?
Is sensei going to kill Amanda? She is a laibility. But surely Emily, even though she knows she's a paia, she wouldn't allow for Amanda to be killed, surely.
What is the Nolan and sensei look for?
Oh I could go on. I am sooooo confused..

I really think that Emily cares for Amanda, but would kill her if she needed too. Only as a last resort though, and she may shed a single tear.

If I think bout it, I feel very sorry for both girls, they are both abandoned children through one way or another and at least one of them was lied to and manipulated from a very young age.

Oblomov, I the point I was making was that Jack told Amanda (i.e. fake Amanda, really Emily) that Emily (fake Emily, real Amanda) had been the one championing her. Amanda then thinks she was wrong about Emily whereas we know different. That said, I do like that Emily is so ambivalent about those closest to her - she wants Village Idiot Daniel and Amanda to be unquestioningly loyal to her, but isn't offering the same in return.

I agree that when Jack said Emily was the only one who "stood by" Amanda, she thought that was true so went to stop Tyler shooting Daniel.

Tyler shot her as she was running away, didn´t he?

"Daniel knows all and will be arrested for Tyler's murder."

But will he believe it?

Tyler shot Amanda. Of course he did. When she was trying to escape from him. I forgot that bit.
It's a good job I've got you lot, to 'spell it out to me', coz I am struggling with it a bit. Mind you, I am normally a bit dim, only when it comes to 'who done it's and i never normally get the clues, even the ones that dh says insists are blindingly obvious.
Dh has now decided its weak and naff and is not watching it anymore !! Shock
Even better. I can enjoy it on my own Smile

I´m assuming that the Japanese guy shot Tyler-but what´s he going to do with Amanda?

Just keep her out of the way whilst Emily gets Jack away?

Wonder what Emily´s plan was?

Was it to shoot Tyler & have Daniel framed for it or is that something that her mentor has done alone I wonder?

finally watched and omg its not Daniel that is dead .............

but good that tyler is dead :) and sure Daniel will get off as have money and self defence esp as waved a gun about at his birthday

will japense guy kill amanda - that will solve the emily/amanda thing and then emily can just say she borrowed a name so that the graysons didnt know she was amanda

Good news is that series 2 starts straight away tonight ladies so we don't have to wait to get all our questions answered!!

Thanks for trying to answer mine re why real Amanda/fake Emily was in juvi but I'm not sure we really know. As someone said it was real Emily that was in there for 'stopping' the step-father abuse........

Did Emily know it was Tyler who had her box to arrange his shooting etc? I can't remember as far back as last week!

My dd2 started watching this part way through the series and the questions/explanations were painful so I feel your pain mizu although that would have been way worse!

Looking forward to series 2 though!

List I thought it aired on Sept 30th? Either way it's a Sunday which means that it clashes with Downton Abbey which is ITV 9pm-10.30pm - D.A starts Sept 16th! Sad

I would imagine that they will hold off series 2 until they can show it regularly, instead of the very stop-start-MAHOOSIVE-midseason-break style of the US. I can't Google for much info for fear of seeing spoilers!

Sorry people - thought the shooting twister was the end of series 1 but seems we're not done yet!

It's all so confusing - I have to keep rewinding to make sure I get it all!

Why is the Japanese guy seeming to run the show I wonder? Seems like he controls Emily/the revenge etc....wonder what his story is?

Love it though - the clothes are fab! Feel sorry for poor old Daniel though - so was it the plan to get him framed for murder - by Japanese man and Emily or just him? And now it's sacrifice Daniel or Jack - is that right?
