We are very excited. Especially the Battle of Britain boy band Grin

MrsMcEnroe · 09/04/2012 16:46

15 minutes to go! Yippee!!

But OP, seriously, Simon Farnaby is the one you swoon over?? Really??!!!! He's the Stupid Death skeleton isn't he?

Greenshadow · 09/04/2012 16:49

Counting down here too.
Trouble is DH and DC aren't as addicted as me, so have to control my fantasies love of the program or they start laughing at me.

violathing · 09/04/2012 16:55

What is the targeted age group, my DS is 5 and doesn't get or like it. I love it - it teaches me a thing or two - particularly liked the terrible tudors with Henry VIII chopping heads. Perhaps it is a bit gruesome!!!!!

Greenshadow · 09/04/2012 16:57

Targeted age, judging by the online forums, is about 30 - 40 !

MigratingCoconuts · 09/04/2012 17:00

and 40-somethings too!! [bugrin]

MrsMcEnroe · 09/04/2012 17:03

Ha, DS (aged 7) is reading this thread over my shoulder!! Grin

DioneTheDiabolist · 09/04/2012 17:05

I would.
All of them.
Even the women.Blush

MigratingCoconuts · 09/04/2012 17:08

me too, Dione [bugrin]

MrsDmitriTippensKrushnic · 09/04/2012 17:09

I am annoyed. I am stuck on a bus. I have BBC iPlayer on my damn phone, but can I get it to play? No
It just doesn't like doing the live stuff. Sad

MyleeneCrass · 09/04/2012 17:35

Simon Farnaby makes me come over all unnecessary especially in a toga, death costume not so much

BloooCowWonders · 09/04/2012 17:49

Too short! We all feel cheated that it didn't last at least an hour Grin

Greenshadow · 09/04/2012 18:26

Only need to wait until tomorrow Blooo

AmIthatbad · 09/04/2012 18:29

Have the proms on in the background and DD is transfixed. I'm loving the music Grin

RantyMcRantpants · 09/04/2012 18:34

My 4 year old loves it. Sings all the songs, his favourite being Henry the VIII, the 4 Georges and Charles II. He is now shouting 'Literatly' at the TV as we watch the Viking.

My other DC 10 AND 6 love it too as does DH(37) and me(47) [bugrin]

legoballoon · 09/04/2012 18:35

Fab prom, such a good programme. Loved the 'Battle of Britain' boy band video earlier. Really made me chuckle. DC (4 & 6) had no idea why it was so funny!

Greenshadow · 09/04/2012 19:22

Half of it is wasted on children isn't it Lego!

MrsMcEnroe · 09/04/2012 19:29

Wow that Battle of Britain/Take That song was inspired!

hiddenhome · 09/04/2012 19:59

Me and ds1 met Terry Deary at a book signing last week. He's very switched on Grin

invicta · 09/04/2012 20:16

I thought the Brian Cox style Ancient Egyptian was absolute genius! Also loved the German bombers and RAF boy band. Brilliant!

MigratingCoconuts · 10/04/2012 20:52

I've had that cleopatra song buzzing around in my head all day after the prom last night Grin

RantyMcRantpants · 10/04/2012 23:24

We've had "I'm a knight" going round the family all day. At random moments someone will say "I'm a knight" and someone else will go "I'm a knight" and it goes on.

sphil · 11/04/2012 00:04

Ds1 sang 'I'm a Knight' with his best friend ( and a cardboard face on a stick for the 3rd knight) for his audition for the school play - they got the two best parts as a result ( and Ds had always been third sheep before). So that song has a special place in the Sphil household Grin
