He was a bit lardy even when he was doing the swim, bizarrely. I mean he really filled his wetsuit, didn't he? I think it must be an odd distribution of the many layers of muscle.

But it's a worry. Cos I've always thought - oh I'll tone up a bit when I can be bothered. He did all that and wobbles more than me. And I certainly CBA to swim more than 5 metres.

And I thought he was gay and married to a man. I need to keep up.

Well that's why I've thrown in the towel. If the Channel and the Thames won't shift stubborn love handles, half hour twice a week down the baths ain't gonna do much is it?
