Can I be so bold as to start the OBEM thread and remind everyone it is on tomorrow as well?

I am excited as I will actually get to watch it and join in live on here instead of watching it on a Thursday morning and scrolling down the thread at the same time Grin.

I'm here, bit late! Cor that woman just now is a bit strident, in't she?! Poor chap, I feel a bit sorry for him now even though he annoyed the piss out of me in her labour.

Oh look, its opera lady. I remember how that couple grated Grin

SilentSinger · 05/04/2012 21:09

it's funny watching the original annoying people from the earlier series

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:10

I missed most of these people originally, I only started watching it recently !

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:11

Opra lady's children are gorgeous.

HepHep · 05/04/2012 21:12

Hey, this follow-up is the PERFECT antidote to the broodiness that the main series induces in us all. I so don't want any more than my one DS now Grin. I'd go mad stuck at home with three, even with a husband or partner. It's bad enough being a single parent with one toddler.

Meglet · 05/04/2012 21:13

She's far too jolly for me. I start the day like a sergeant major.

CruciFlisspaps · 05/04/2012 21:13

And that is why I always recommend a travel mug as a gift for new mums, to prevent those 'my cup of tea has gone cold Sad' moments Grin Far more useful than more fancy hand cream or muslin bloody squares!

Meglet · 05/04/2012 21:16

And that is why you need laminate floors.

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:17

Great tip CruciFlisspaps

Aboutlastnight · 05/04/2012 21:19

God three under five.

I had blocked that out remember it well Grin

HepHep · 05/04/2012 21:19

Oh oh oh! She reminds me of Miranda Hart, I knew it was someone familiar. Whew :)

Meglet · 05/04/2012 21:20

aaw, I do like her. She's the anti-me. Jolly and smiley Grin.

CruciFlisspaps · 05/04/2012 21:21

HepHep absolutely.

Laughing that his nan calls him 'little shit' Confused

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:21

Oh my! Her bump is big!

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:30

Mumsnet is back!

HepHep · 05/04/2012 21:31

I have a feeling that Dean and whatsherface's relationship is suffering a bit. She doesn't seem to like him very much, does she? :(
Mind you, I was mental for the first 12 months of motherhood. She could just be really tired and freaking out.

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:32

Yeh, I think she's lost patience with him. Hoovering 4 times a day would wreck your head though!

CruciFlisspaps · 05/04/2012 21:32

9 months and not sleeping through, oh dear lovely, that's...NORMAL!

Hoovering 4 times a day to stop your 9mo getting germs...not great Sad

And the baby walkers are making my judge-o-meter very twitchy.

These lot need to join MN! Really, they should give out the web address to all new parents instead of that bloody Emma's Diary.

tralalala · 05/04/2012 21:34

I had three under five, now even though she was annoying at least |I wasn't alone in going mental...and she only had to look after them alone one day a week when i had the joy of 5 days, god bedtime was mental...

HepHep · 05/04/2012 21:34

Oh no, shes talking in the past tense now!

tralalala · 05/04/2012 21:35

hated the 'little shit' comment grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

tralalala · 05/04/2012 21:35

mirand hart is spot on!

CruciFlisspaps · 05/04/2012 21:41

What the arse is she on about?!

TheLaineyWayIsEssex · 05/04/2012 21:41

Oh is Lucy an opera singer?. She should have mentioned it Hmm

scarletforya · 05/04/2012 21:41

He's a schoolteacher that works until 8 o'clock!!! Oh GAWD! the singing would drive me mental!
