It was quite hard going. I wasnt overly impressed by it. I felt like that right in the beginning.

yes slow moving wasn't it- although the critics here described that as...brave enough to slow burn from the first episode here. My husband who loves it described it as a slightly dull TV movie and reckoned there are a lot more sets this season rather than real locations......apparently the salaries will all have gone up so maybe less money about for usual location shoots which are more costly.....it will warm up as it goes I am sure.
Good to see even Joan looking less coiffed in the early blearyness of motherhood-that will be my excuse ten days from now when I will be slothing with new baby!
