Okay as you watch it on Tuesday.......try and think of the most likely am I being unreasonable threads that the characters would have put on mums net had it been around in 1966......quite a few moments there are that the mother.....daughter.....worker in us can relate to.

Pitmountainpony, I am v envious of your evening with the cast of MM!! I am also v excited. We watched the box set in the months leading up to DS being born and then after a couple of weeks off we watched season 4. It was so nice to sit and do something normal, from our lives before being parents. Not much else would have kept me awake!

I can't wait to see if Don actually goes through with marrying Megan. I don't know why Betty is still in it, unless they get back together or something? I just love the way it shows how limited women's options were back then.

Betty is the mother of his children, I imagine that has something to do with why she is still in it!!

33 yes it was fascinating......hearing the cast talk. All were ....Very sweet and excited by the success of the show.....it must be fun if you are an actor to go to a theatre and have everyone clap you as tv is applause lacking.

Joan and Peggy were not there.they were all so lovely especially the little girl who was super bright but not precocious at all it seemed.....she said some very insightful stuff about her character...out of the mouths of babes and all that.
January jones was actually ...well she seemed.....very similar somehow to her character....a little prickly....she said people cross the road to avoid her in LA when she has her real life baby with her and give her not fit to be a mother looks.....I felt a bit sorry for her when she disclosed that to a theatre full of people. But every bit the cool Hitchcock 's choice blonde without trying she seemed. John Hamm..seemed.....lovely....a man of few words and seemingly modest. But what can you tell really from 2 hours of them chatting......I just know the show is great.

I dont know what you can tell, I suspect they all have their guard up!! Is she terribly thin in real life?
