icapturethecastle · 23/02/2012 22:53

This didn't happen at my dancing competitions - what a strange world we live in i feel about 80 watching this.

inchoccyheaven · 23/02/2012 22:53

That should have said how can they judge any of that???

oldqueenie · 23/02/2012 22:54

like to see those mum's having a go...Hmm

caspered · 23/02/2012 22:54

I am getting really stressed watching this. I want to smack orlaighs mum soooooo hard Angry

allnightlong · 23/02/2012 22:54

MissBee I remember quite a few girls in my day having serve asthma, they would almost always end up in hopsital straight after a comp. I used to think it was less about the running around they did and more from the plumes of hair spray.

inchoccyheaven · 23/02/2012 22:56

That is gymnastics to bad music not dancing surely?

elizadoulalittle · 23/02/2012 22:57

orla didn't make it. Poor child, whats her mum going to say? Sad

oldqueenie · 23/02/2012 22:57

elizadoulalittle · 23/02/2012 22:58

snice · 23/02/2012 22:58

Queenofcake · 23/02/2012 22:58

This looks like it just has to be one massive bitch fest between the mums tbh!!!

The whole thing is just awful and tacky.

I am Shock

allnightlong · 23/02/2012 22:58

tigerbear 6 hours is fairly decent for that sort of comp I would leave around 6/7am and not be home until 7/8pm at night. There is often many many rounds and age groups so there is a lot of time to rest, the time on the dance floor is usually in total around 10 mins.

crazynanna · 23/02/2012 22:58

I am a tad embarrassed Blush

snowmaiden · 23/02/2012 23:00

The kids are amazing though- especially Karah! Wish my dd could do that but wouldn't ever push her. She's too left feet unfortunately.

oldqueenie · 23/02/2012 23:00

scary and horrid.

elizadoulalittle · 23/02/2012 23:00

I'm glad that crap is over. Grin

elizadoulalittle · 23/02/2012 23:01

I'm glad my DDs can't do that and never will if I have my way

diamondsonthesolesofhershoes · 23/02/2012 23:02

There must be a better balance between having a hobby they're enthusiastic about and THAT

tigerbear · 23/02/2012 23:02

Shocking. Those stupid, stupid women - how can they not see that they're being cruel to their poor DD's??

NigellasGuest · 23/02/2012 23:02

yes - ballet perhaps?
