TWW is very good obviously and I'm on about ep 6 of season 3. I have developed quite a serious crush on Sam Seaborn, but I'm getting really quite bored of Leo McGarry's smell the fart acting.

Is it just me?

Oh I loved that first scene with POTUS when he comes in right at the very end like the wrath of God.

I'm in the horrible bit of s7 at the moment where Martin Sheen has announced John Spencer has died and they're showing his remaining episodes as a tribute - it makes me sad every time as I know it's building up to the scene with Annabeth finding him in the bathroom Sad.

I reckon I'll be done with s7 in a couple of weeks and then I'm going straight back onto s1 (which I've only re-watched once) as we've just lent the DVDs to a friend and I'm hoping I can get that vicarious WW 'virgin' feeling through talking about it with her!

OliviaMumsnet · 29/01/2012 11:05

@Hassled

Do you fellow WWers know that just about every conceivable WW character is alive and well on Twitter? They all have little biogs saying what they're doing now and they talk to each other. Even quite minor people - Cliff the Republican, etc. DS2 and I spent a very happy hour catching up with everyone - I think DS2 lost touch with reality for a while and I did feel the need to point out it was probably just one sad man in Arkansas :o.

Ooh really?
I have missed this thread as I was boringly really rather ill for most of January but this is the best news ever about Twietter. Grin
LOL at your DS

@wintera

I remember thinking it was so cool that in real life Josh Lyman was married to the lady who played the mum in Malcolm in the middle, because they are both fab in my opinion. Was disappointed when they divorced a couple of years ago though. I think they had been married a while too.

I am often disappointed when slebs divorce. How very dare they?! Grin

Didn't know you had been ill, Olivia. Glad you have recovered. Dr Lindor prescribes a week of lying in bed with Hotel Chocolat and WW DVDs.

I am on season 1 again and today watched woot canal - love CJ

I felt almost bereaved the first time I finished the last episode of the last season - during maternity leave with ds1. It bears so much reviewing, lots of subtleties that come out each time. And Leo is great - esp love his dealings with Josh when he's seeing Stanley for the first time about his PTSD.

StetsonsAreCool · 29/01/2012 20:58

Arf - woot canaw! Grin DH thinks I'm slighly unhinged given the ferocity of the laugh that just escaped me Blush

I love them all. Bloody awesome stuff.

LadyEmmaHamilton · 01/02/2012 13:11

Tis the OP, but name changed. Am towards the end of series 3 and have been giggling away at CJ and her SS Agent. He has just got three bullseyes. I think I would like a SS
Agent

gilmoregirl · 01/02/2012 13:41

I am a bit scared to admit this but I am with OP on the Leo thing.

Absolutely love TWW but never really got the Leo obessions. He's ok I guess and I do like the block of Cheese ......

Josh Lyman though - grrrrr. Come to mama.

Have a total girl crush on CJ and FLOTUS too

I am so going to get my boxset out for the fourth or maybe fifth viewing

bliss

StetsonsAreCool · 01/02/2012 14:51

Well I'm on s1e3 right now, what a way to spend your first few days of redundancy.

Forgotten quite how much Mandy makes me want to scratch out my eyes.

And how much I loved the way Charlie gets his job Grin

LadyEmmaHamilton · 01/02/2012 16:19

Gilmoregirl I have done a Leo u turn. It will come to you too!

PigWhisperer · 02/02/2012 12:56

Oh I love TWW and Leo. And Josh. And Sam and CJ.

Think I have posted this before but this is one of my favourite clips, for the relationship between husband and wife and for the staffers reactions to what happens.

Bartlett is just about to start his first televised debate but everyone has noticed he hasn't been on his best form, he complains he is lacking in buzz and adrenaline so Abby helps him....She has the best giggle!

StetsonsAreCool · 02/02/2012 13:53

Pig, I know what that's going to be before I even click. Another best moment Smile
