It's an ever more risible story-line, and not in a good way. At least it looks set to be brief!

BTW: are they foreshadowing a return for Daniel. How old would be be? Would he last longer than the last fruit of Ken's loins to appear from random places?

Hayley might come down with food poisening and Rita and Emily's cook off is yet again ignited.

Most of the storylines seem to be brief these days in Corrie.

Goodness Eastenders - i struggle to feel sorry for Zanaib (oops) - the satoryline is so long drawn out and pointless - i feel sorry for Jane - It's inevitable he'll get back with Zanaib - yawn

TBH I think you'd be better off in a different thread for the other soaps - not everyone watches all of them.

It was a far to sudden storyline, and with the wrong people in the row. I'm sure they could have come up with other and better story lines to have got the people they wanted into Roy's for Xmas Day.

Becky and Steve looked right together; makes the disaster of keeping Tracey and Becky leaving seem so much worse.

What's the fireman's name? I'm not sure about setting the first meeting with Jason in the Rovers was a brilliant idea, but if they can keep off gimmicky bits this is a promising area.

Agree about the sudden storyline Christmas dinner at Roy's. That approach spoils the programme.

Fireman's name is Paul, the whole storyline makes me feel uneasy, Eileen waiting to pounce when Lesley goes into a home.

I dont see how Tracey can blame Becky, she was nowhere near her. Are we sure thats what happens?

Will they leave it open for Becky to return? I hope so. I can see her going on to do other things as an actress.

Remember Raquel? she was in everything for awhile, I havent seen her for ages though.

I would much rather see Steve back with Becky but that obviously isn't going to happen. I would also like Peter and Leanne to stay together.

The Owen and David thing is ridiculous, I feel really sorry for poor Faye, no sooner has she been adopted than the man she thought was going to be her dad buggered off without so much as sending a postcard and her mum has got together with a complete thug. I used to really like Anna but just want her to wake up and see what she's getting herself into.

I also hate Kirsty, Tyrone is another one who needs to wake up and see what he's getting into, there is something very scary and nasty about her. She appears not to have any family or a home of her own either.

I expect they will use the bit of the night when Becky chose to walk instead of geting a lift with Steve to put doubt in his mind. If what I have read is true she is going to get a brilliant revenge.

It can't be that drawn out as Katherine Kelly has finished filming and her final scenes go out in about 4 weeks time. Then again, with a badly written storyline, that could seem like forever, couldn't it?

It would improve things no end if they got shot of Tracey.

And also Carla; I really don't want to see her with Peter, and the Frank storyline has been mishandled so badly it's just embarrassing now.

I'd like to see the Rovers properly back in MacDonald hands - including Liz. Stella's family just don't fit in, and show zero signs of developing into characters that would suit the Street and the Rovers community. Or sideline a bit. Move Nick on to something else, and put Stella et al into the wine bar instead. They might just be bearable there, and as it isn't central like the Rovers it wouldn't matter if they weren't.

The Rovers feels all wrong now - and you can't switch it all into Roy's instead, unfortunately.
