I think we should stop being mean to Janet about her accent when she sings. We've become all too ready to accept UK and Irish singers putting on fake American accents, maybe we should lay off the stick about her singing voice being the same as her speaking voice?

MrsHonkover for me, It's not Janet's accent that is the problem- it is the breathy delivery- like Diana Vickers. I don't notice her accent when she sings, just the rather affected way she performs.

Oh lord yes, I hated The Claw as well.

I also hate that wobbly head sassy thing that Janet does when she's been reprogrammed to 'up tempo'. It's like Kate Bush meets Clagnut.

I started off Liking The Claw, thought she was a bit different etc- but she just got irritating. And that advert she does makes me feel stabby!

Yes, 'different' is never a good thing if you have to watch them week after week!
