But ... in the Telegraph today Penelope Milton ( Isobel Crawley) says" I have never lost a grown up child, but I have known loss.... " revealing the heartache behind her success - and the joy and tragedy in the final episode of Downton.

Apparently Isobel does not succumb to 'flu, nor is she murdered by the Dowager Duchess. She is however turning down other work for next year, that must mean she's in series 3!
