Spooks is definitely back to it's best ever nerve wracking heart racing stuff ( but I am a bit of a scaredy cat ) I don't trust Miss Swishy hair , but Tariq ! No! I liked him all smooth and dark and handsome

This whole finale series is going to be Harry sulking, Ruth looking moody, New woman grimacing, Hammy faced new man looking Hammy faced and Dimitri sighing.

I said to husband before the episode started someone always dies the 2nd or 3rd episode, never did I think it would be dreamy Tariq. I'm the kiss of death to any Spooks character I fancy admire.

At least he got to do a masterful speech.

He was (just) still breathing while Calum was looking at him gormlessly, Valpolicella. He was clearly in a very bad way, I admit.

I said to DH "why doesn't he just call an ambulance?!" but I don't think it was anything that makes Callum suspicious, I just think they didn't bother to write that bit

As for Tariq, he was dreamy last series but he had very silly hair this series. All gelled back and centre-parting - yuk. They were trying to geek him up, I think.

Once again though, didn't really get it and need to rewatch. Is it too late to ask a question about last week's?! They said that Max Witt (Sharecropper) was killed because Ilya Gavrik knew that he was passing info, or something like that. But if he knew what Max was doing then how come he doesn't know about his wife being a spy?

Personally I think Ruth is behind it all - she's never forgiven MI5 for allowing her husband and his kid to be killed!

WHY do they always get rid of the nice ones - I liked him best. Callum is not much cop either - it's all going horribly wrong! I agree there's too many meaningful looks and furrowing of brows atm.

The fact he was ringing in as an emergency indicates to me that it was an inside job.

Initial thoughts were Ruth. Then i dismissed it. Which is why if it was Ruth it would be so explosive.
Then I thought Erin or ros (yes I'm not over that either!!)

Didn't they do the whole insider job story-line with Connie though?! Be a bit weak to do it again, but there has to be more to Ruth I'm sure of it!

Well Ruth was thumbing through Harry's personnel file. Maybe she hasnt realy forgiven him for letting her boyfriend die.

The Connie storyline was brilliant, except when she slit Bens throat in the basement.
