..it cant just be me!!

Just been watching "Penguins of madagascar" with ds1 and, honestly, I think I enjoy it more than him!!

Skipper: "That what manfredi and johansen said and we buried what was left of them with a teaspoon" (said in a william shatner voice) Grin

LOVE "horrible histories" and "deadly 60" too.

And for some reason the episode of "pingu" with the green crab has me squealing with laughter Blush

What are your faves???

Shaun the Sheep. Bloody amazing.

gregssausageroll · 04/09/2011 19:00

I love Shaun the Sheep and I quite like The Hive. DS is only 3.

I hate with a passion Little Einsteins and Fireman Sam is heading the same way.

missmogwi · 04/09/2011 21:48

Horrible histories is brill. And Deadly 60, but mostly because the presenter bloke is gorgeous. Peppa pig, especially Mummy pig and mrs rabbit who does every job. I often sit watching it long after the kids have swanned off. Grin

LilBB · 05/09/2011 06:49

I don't mind Peppa Pig as long as it's not one I've seen 100 times. I didn't think Mrs Rabbit did all the jobs. I assumed there are loads of mrs rabbits as rabbits breed like rabbits.

I quite like Ben and Holly and Dora. I enjoy any of the Disney DVDs we own. I try to sway DDs choice to one of my childhood favourites when she's choosing.

I hate hate hate hate hate Fireman Sam. The stupid kid who glued his hand to the door after accidentally starting a fire with a magnifying glass drives me mad. There must only be about ten new episodes too cos I've seen them all and I only see them occasionally when DN watches it.

Panzee · 05/09/2011 06:57

I used to think that about Miss Rabbit LilBB until that episode where she hurts her leg and the others go out and do her jobs.

upahill · 06/09/2011 10:00

Can anyone help me out on this children's programme.
It was about a disabled basketball team.

I used to come home from work and watch is with DS

discobeaver · 10/09/2011 08:55

Was it Desperados?

I love Sorry I've Got No Head, the man with the bees, the two women who think everything costs "a thousand pounds!" the kid on the Scottish island - loads of great stuff.
Chowder is great too, about a bear type creature and his chef boss. V weird.
I like iCarly too, those kids are wazzed up to the hilt aren't they?
And the one with the twins on the cruise ship - something on deck? They usually live in a hotel.

CrosswordAddict · 10/09/2011 08:59

Horrible Histories is great.
Last night I watched the Simpsons with DD2 and it was lovely to sit for half an hour in the evening instead of rushing around collecting them from Cadets.

ripstheirthroatoutliveupstairs · 10/09/2011 15:27

HH in this house too. DD knows virtually all the songs and we both like stupid deaths.
Sorry I've got no head is genius too.
When she was younger, I quite enjoyed Nina and the neurons and the slammer.

edam · 10/09/2011 15:36

Horrible Histories and I'm Sorry I've Got No Head are classics. Same way students from my era reminisced about Mary Mungo and Midge or the Clangers or whatever, ds's generation will talk fondly about those programmes.

We were lucky enough to see the Horrible Histories prom, which was fantastic, even though we had to queue for an hour and then stand for two, up in the Gods.

upahill · 10/09/2011 22:22

That's it! Desperados!!
I used to like that!

DiscoDaisy · 10/09/2011 22:25

Timmy Time, Deadly 60 and Horrible Histories.
Which one of the HH actors is Matthew Baynton who some MNer's rave about?

BreakOutTheKaraoke · 11/09/2011 08:38

I love kids tv at the minute! I've ordered my DD the full series of wizards of waverly place, because I love it that much. I actually watch it when shes not there Blush I fancy the brother though, so that helps.
Also like iCarly, and sonny with a chance, and Phineas and Ferb- love the theme tune!

CalamityKate · 11/09/2011 08:42

Wonderpets - "Chimp - take. The. Banana. Out. Of. Your. Ear"

iCarly - Blush

Charlie and Lola

Horrible Histories

LottieJenkins · 11/09/2011 09:09

Come Outside (Pippins poo especially!!!)
Gigglebiz
Horrid Henry!

bea · 11/09/2011 09:44

love Horrible histories and DiscoDaisy matthew baynton is here!

LaTristesse · 14/09/2011 14:09

We also haven't made it past CBeebies, but I love Rastamouse, Come Outside, Show Me Show Me (have a teensy crush on Chris!) and Charlie and Lola.

DamselInDisarray · 14/09/2011 14:13

I used to make DS1 watch Avatar: The Legend of Aang with me. It was awesome. I quite enjoy a bit of Phineus and Ferb sometimes too.

ripstheirthroatoutliveupstairs · 15/09/2011 22:02

Just remembered, Big babies I think it's called. It is quite bizarre, two babies, who are not brothers, have dull days but the toys in the room of one baby come to life. A rag doll boy thing is always after chocolate and another baby called the Gronch or something like that has a load of bling on his pushchair.
I haven't explained it well, but it is late.
