..it cant just be me!!

Just been watching "Penguins of madagascar" with ds1 and, honestly, I think I enjoy it more than him!!

Skipper: "That what manfredi and johansen said and we buried what was left of them with a teaspoon" (said in a william shatner voice) Grin

LOVE "horrible histories" and "deadly 60" too.

And for some reason the episode of "pingu" with the green crab has me squealing with laughter Blush

What are your faves???

Collision · 03/09/2011 21:46

HH is great!

Deadly60 is fab but mainly cos of SteveB (who I have been photographed with!)

Love 64 Zoo Lane which my boys have grown out of

Also love Dennis, Charlie and Lola, icarly and Prince of Bel Air with Will Smith.

RedHotPokers · 03/09/2011 21:46

Also like the Little Princess even though it is quite strange (think Julian Clary is one of the voices???).

Collision · 03/09/2011 21:46

Am loving Camp Orange too.

MigratingCoconuts · 03/09/2011 21:50

collision..I'm pretty sure you are getting the SteveB photo thing in every thread you can Envy

Lucycat · 03/09/2011 21:57

Love Horrible Histories - I have spent the last week learning the monarchs song to impress my students next week! Even though I teach geog. Grin

FayKnights · 03/09/2011 22:04

Horrible Histories is excellent, such dedication Lucycat.
Also love Phineas and Ferb, we're not allowed Cbeebies in this house anymore.

Lucycat · 03/09/2011 22:06

Grin it wasn't much of a hardship as my dd's have it on constantly thru YouTube Blush

MugglesandLuna · 03/09/2011 22:12

Horrible Histories. I love it and I have a embarrassing crush on one of the male actors, so much so that I had a rather erotic dream about him last night Blush

Mondaybaby · 03/09/2011 22:16

I love '3rd and Bird', 'Charlie and Lola' and super love 'In the Night Garden'. I can almost sing MakaPaka's song all the way through now. But I know what you mean Georgimama, Iggle Piggle is in a very sad situation.
Does anyone remember 'Count Duckula"? Now that was amazing!

MugglesandLuna · 03/09/2011 22:16

Snap Lucy - I know all the words too
DS thinks im sad is impressed.

oldfriend · 03/09/2011 22:19

well not sure if all of these are 'children's' as such but Sponge Bob Square Pants, Neds Declassified School Survival Guide and Fairly Odd Parents are all good in my opinion.

MavisGrind · 03/09/2011 22:20

Muggles - me too, although for some reason it was concerning Jim Howick when even my sub-conscious knows it should have been Matt Baynton

I only ever seem to post on MN about fancying the cast of HH. Oh dear.

RedBlanket · 03/09/2011 22:24

Good Luck Charlie and I don't mind Wizards of Wavereley Place.

Always liked Balamory, Charlie and Lola and 64 Zoo Lane. But sad my DCs are too old for them.

scrappydappydoo · 03/09/2011 22:25

I like peppa episodes the first time of viewing just not after 30/40 times.
I like Charlie & Lola and Curious George for their gentleness.
I like the octonauts cos its quite cool but I can't get my head around captain barnacle being a polar bear and the same size as a penguin and not eating his fellow octonauts.
I love phineas and ferb but by dcs are a bit young for it atm so I don't get to watch it very often :(

scrappydappydoo · 03/09/2011 22:26

that should read 'my dc's' not by dcs

Flowerista · 03/09/2011 22:28

Ben and Holly, especially the one in Spaaaaace. Penguins of Madagascar are brilliant.

oldfriend · 03/09/2011 22:33

I forgot Phineas and Ferb it's great!

supermarketjeans · 03/09/2011 22:38

Deadly 60 - i am afraid to say i think the male presenter is gorgeous!

Becaroooo · 04/09/2011 09:38

Oh so glad its not just me!

When I was young I loved;
Chorlton and the Wheelies
Why dont you?
Bagpuss
Bod
Fingermouse
Count Duckula
Danger Mouse
Rentaghost
Jackanory - the one where Rik mayall read Georges Marvellous Medicine!!

Anyone remember "The box of delights" - xmas show on bbc? Was so fab.

Sigh...such happy days!

Selky · 04/09/2011 09:45

Love Octonauts.

We have Bagpuss and Ivor the Engine on DVD (which DS loves).

Quite like Thomas the Tank Engine and Chuggington too. Possibly what I like most is MIL chuntering in the background about Paternal Capitalism.

happymole · 04/09/2011 09:49

Good thread idea

I love;

Ben and Hollys Little Kingdom (for Nanny Plum)
Imagination Mover's (for the music)
Curious George (It's just great)
Peppa Pig (ditto above)
Bunnytown (no longer on)
Johnny and the Sprites (no longer on)

Most hated;

Little 'bastard' Bear
Fireman Sam
Wonder Pets
Team Umizoomi

DilysPrice · 04/09/2011 09:51

I like The Slammer too, I'm a sucker for a good variety act. I still miss Jane and the Dragon from a few years ago. And I'm shocked that nobody has mentioned Little Howard's Big Questions - if there's nothing on grown up telly DH and I frequently iPlayer an old LHBQ episode to watch while we eat supper.

Becaroooo · 04/09/2011 09:53

Oh, how could I forget Ivor the engine?

And trumpton, chigley and camberwick green?

Also there was one programme and I cant remember the name...lots of ghosts in an old house....argh...thats going to drive me mad now!

Also liked Will-o-the-wisp (narrated by Kenneth williams) and trapdoor.

Bear Behaving Badly is also a big fave in our house Smile

OP posts:
ChippingIn · 04/09/2011 09:59

I love Peppa Pig and I love any episode of Fireman Sam that Norman isn't in... that kid makes me want to scream. I like WonderPets.

Bagpus, Rentaghost, Magic Roundabout, Rainbow - delights of my childhood!

FayKnights · 04/09/2011 10:10

Becaroooo I borrowed the 'Box of Delights' from LoveFilm a couple of Christmasses ago for a bit of nostalgia and it scared the bejaysus out of me more than when I was a kid!
