I think we'll probably get it in October but I haven't seen anything official yet.

Have to say I'm starting to suffer from Damon withdrawal so was glad of this fix . Not sure about his hair though but I'll reserve judgement til we see more.

i gave this up after season one. i like shit series - im a one tree hill fan - or was , but this was truly dire even for me

No but seriously I agree with MrsDmitri season 2 was better than season 1 and I'm hoping for better still from Season 3.

DH and I used to call it Vampire Dairies during season one, as it was so vanilla compared to Trueblood. Season 2, however, was awesome. Bring back Catherine and Damon

Vampire Diaries is actually better than True Blood, both me and the non-Damon Fixated DH agree.

Can't wait for Season 3, was excited just seeing this topic.

I agree Goth. I enjoy True Blood but I love TVD and am counting down the days til Season 3.

As for series 2 being so much better then series 1, I was raving to my sister about it, she saw series 1 and thought it was rubbish, I had to say that it gets much better.

Btw, very excited about the Jeremy seeing dead people storyline, I loved Anna character, so I'm looking forward to it coming back.

It certainly gives them scope for the rest of the 'dead' characters .

Am waiting impatiently for Season 2 to come down a bit in price on Amazon so that I can rewatch it while I wait for Season 3.

And I'm with you, ScFiFan - I do enjoy True Blood but I love TVD. Haven't invested in True Blood DVDs!

Watched both vampire diaries and true blood from start to finish recently, tis fab

I don't think I'd like to choose between the two of them tbh. I like them both too much!

I use the www.find-dvd.co.uk/ to find the cheapest price on DVDs. It won't be long now til the release of S2 I think it's 22nd Aug.
