Is anyone else watching this?

OP posts:
sittinginthesun · 21/07/2011 21:08

Yes, I am. Hope it's not too heartbreaking. Cancer is bit of a tough subject for me.

aStarInStrangeways · 21/07/2011 21:09

I don't dare. Bone cancer far too close to the bone, as it were.

LetThereBeRock · 21/07/2011 21:19

Hugs for you both. I'm sorry that your lives have been affected by cancer in some form.Sad

I am afraid that it is going to be heartbreaking,Sittinginthesun,I've just Googled him.

God bless him, its so sad. He is one amazingly strong guy though.

Sorry that have both had to go through some awful experiences as well.

sittinginthesun · 21/07/2011 21:25

Well done, though. May turn over before end.

bluejeans · 21/07/2011 21:25

Watching with DD, 11, I think I know where this is going but don't think DD does Sad

SalmonPinkCanary · 21/07/2011 21:26

sittinginthesun · 21/07/2011 21:26

And thanks for your thoughts. Xxx

CroissantNeuf · 21/07/2011 21:28

I'm watching (and crying already after reading a link about him on the BBC website)

LetThereBeRock · 21/07/2011 21:28

He's so lovely isn't he? And such a handsome boy too.

Awful to see him in so much pain.Sad

OP posts:
bluejeans · 21/07/2011 21:33

How old is he?

CroissantNeuf · 21/07/2011 21:35

21 I think

bluejeans · 21/07/2011 21:36

Thanks

TheGrimSweeper · 21/07/2011 21:46

So touching Sad

LetThereBeRock · 21/07/2011 21:46

This is so unfair and so cruel.

OP posts:
TheGrimSweeper · 21/07/2011 21:53

Life is so unfair. Such a beautiful couple. Oh no

SalmonPinkCanary · 21/07/2011 21:56

Very beautiful and genuinely nice people.

sittinginthesun · 21/07/2011 22:00

Very good programme. X

thefirstMrsDeVere · 21/07/2011 22:00

Watched it.
Beautiful boy.

Fucking cancer

LetThereBeRock · 21/07/2011 22:03

His poor wife and family.I can't imagine the extent of their pain.Sad What a loss.

OP posts:
worzelswife · 21/07/2011 22:03

I agree, fucking cancer. Far too young to die such a hideous death.
I'm in floods of tears. It's so sad. I'm glad I watched it though, what a lovely boy.

begonyabampot · 22/07/2011 00:56

this was heartbreaking, my mum died of a cancer a few years ago and I know of a 7 yr old who is dying at the moment. Just too much for these poor children and their poor parents to bear. Was bad enough with my mum who had lived a longer, fuller life and led a life which led to cancer - but with these poor children - it's just too much. God Bless all those families out there dealing with this.

Liluri · 22/07/2011 01:11

Amazing programme.
What a wonderful family.
My heart truly goes out to them all.

thefirstMrsDeVere · 22/07/2011 08:02

My DD was 14 when she died after being sick for 2 years.

begonyabampot · 22/07/2011 10:07

I was thinking of you MrsdeVere during this. I read your posts in the past and have been touched by what happened to your beautiful daughter.
