Jai was brilliant. He gives me goosebumps when he sings. Lovely!

I think the judges are shocked at the result. I think they all expected Ronan to win - particularly Amanda.

Pussycat Doll did not need to gyrate (open legged) dressed as a dead swan.....and sing about "shoving it in her" etc.....bleurgh!

I loved Paul the Pianist and the ballet dancer / gymnast - they were the acts with any real class.....hard to believe they came 8 and 6....

Jai was brilliant and a deserved winner, what has tactical voting got to do with it? Theres always going to be sour grapes from people whos favourite didnt win in these kind of shows.

Jai was by far the best. LOVED him. Ronan was terrible - like a horrible, stage school kid - loads like him about - thankfully not too many on the telly.

wheresmytractor there are 51 million people in England and 5 million in Scotland, so no amount of tactical voting is going to swing a competition like BGT.

I really wanted the piano playing kid to win actually, liked jai (couldn't bloody stand ronan for same reasons as yousankmybattleship) but we hardly ever see young talented musicians on classical instruments. It takes an awful lot to compose so well too.

Well, I am Scottish and I love the idea of the whole of Scotland voting for Jai. Scots are good that way :)

Why were they saying that 2.5% between 1st and 2nd was soooo close? - with only 10 acts - that is a hell of a lot......

IMO, he is what BGT is all about; a normal bloke with a ker-azy talent. I guess Jai falls into that group too. He's not "variety" enough though.

Regional voting does happen on talent shows, though wheresmytractor phrased that badly.

I'm disappointed Razy didn't win tbh. Wasn't fussed about Ronan, not my cup of tea really. It's nice to see a non-favourite win though, and Jai was good.

I also would've chosen Steven Hall to win if it could've been anyone. He never stood a chance though, unfortunately.

Is it a racist comment "where's my tractor" made? I can't think my North of the Border relations give a monkeys and wouldn't vote for Jai because he is Scottish. More likely James because of the 'Aaahhh factor.

Glad Ronan didn't win - terrrible hair, terrible song, too stage school. Wanted the piano guy to win as he had the most talent. Playing and composing.

The wannabe boy band can't sing in tune.
The stage-school kid can, but shouldn't be allowed to.
Female Liberace is v funny.
Dancing boy good but soulless.
Impressionist is shit.
Pianist v good.

The American girl at the end put them all to shame. Pity she wasn't competing.

I though the young lad pianist was certainly musical but a little average to be honest. I'm an average pianist and was improvising around a chord progression like that when I was a teenager and I think I noticed he was using all the easy white notes like I used to.

The Female Liberace - she was a hoot.

I too wanted the pianist too win, amazing piece of music. Thought Ronan was good, but this won't be his last chance to make it, Jai was good and very Josh Groban....but the pianist is a raw talent.

The girl at the end looked like she was lip syncing as her voice just didn't seem like it could come out of her mouth!!

SmethwickBelle I didn't see the final but I wondered that about the pianist too: though I thought he was lovely, it sort of reminded me of the stuff the DCs do when they are experimenting. I keep meaning to ask my piano teacher what she thought but I am not sure she watches it.

I agree with those who said the mini opera singer was odd. It was like she was possesed. Freaky.
