ok I know I shouldn't care but I watched this for the first time last night and have a question. Is it real or are they made characters?
And secondly how do all the women keep their hair so perfect?
Again I realise I have too much time on my hands

They are real but a lot of the script is made up & they hae been given cars to drive around in & arge is currently wearing a fat suit Hmm

I love this programme soooo much it makes me laugh everytime and even giggle!!! LOL

Arg isn't wearing a fat suit... we have seen his moobs recently!

What is going on with Mark's family and Lauren..... his mum is a cow AND when he was ''apologising'' tonight and making it all seem like Lauren has made a mistake!

Feeling sad there are only 2 more episodes to go :(

They have make up artists OP, Lauren's make up artist has been promoting her skills and telling people to see her make up and watch her clients on TOWIE!

Only one more ep to go this series, would be nice for Arg and Lydia to make up but doubt it! They've wrapped filming this series now but the TOWIE cameras are going with them to Marbella and will be back before too long!

than Mark are we sure she is only in her early twenties,or has she slept a few years ?

I think Mark's family don't like the person he becomes when he is around Lauren. Not that he's all that nice when he isn't with her either. She seems really possessive as though its all about her.

I heart the only way is Essex. I am in agreement that Mark's family is horrible - even Nanny Pat was having a dig about Lauren's cooking the other day. Then again Mark is vain and aggressive. Lauren should stop fixating on weddings, dump him and get a job.

And of course Joey Essex is well reem.

love amy - like jordan but much better looking and a lovely personality

Marks piggish behavior really came out in the last episode, im glad that Lauren took a stand!

I was surprised to see a bit of solidarity from Marks mum towards Lauren re the Mark work/partying issue...but still think shes hideous.

I think Sam and her sister Billie look peculiar, all stretchy funny skin and teeny tiny eyes.

I think Lydia is lovely and the only one who has not had her tits done, and Lauren.

I fancy Kirk, he is so cute, but I feel sick saying in.

Joey essex, what he says must be scripted as no one is that dumb surely?

Amy is the prettiest and funniest.

I heart The Only Way is Essex.

I had sympathy with Mark about not wanting Lauren to go the the parties he organises when I saw the way she behaved. You can imagine her getting equally worked up if she thought he was paying too much attention to another girl.
People pay to go to those parties to have a good time, not to witness a shouting match between those two.

They do seem to have a particularly toxic relationship though.
