I am, but I tape it and watch it during the week

I do have a tendancy to get lost in some storylines, and I did at the start of thism but think I am just about OK now!

noddyholder · 20/02/2011 22:46

I watch it Probably one of teh best things on tv in years

MumInBeds · 20/02/2011 22:47

I'm watching. It always leaves me feeling wrung out after watching though.

MrsDrOwenHunt · 20/02/2011 22:47

MrsDrOwenHunt · 20/02/2011 22:49

purpleknittingmum · 20/02/2011 22:49

I end up watching it in 3 or 4 parts!

noddyholder · 20/02/2011 22:50

My dp and I sit in silence riveted.I am appalled at the some of the drivel on tv when I see what can be produced.crap like teh x factor should be the exception and things like this the rule

MrsDrOwenHunt · 20/02/2011 22:53

its so compelling, the actors are brilliant and i think morepeople should be educated by this fantastic film x

Yep loving it. Especially like the way it is intercut so both story lines unfold in synergy although after tonights episode I did think it might occur to Erin to read the entire diary before running off willy nilly into one if the dodgiest parts of the west bank. Also I am finding her naivity and complete ignorance of the situation there a bit hard to swallow. But the stuff set in the 40s is fascinating and Christian Cooke is hot very good. Wink

MrsDrOwenHunt · 20/02/2011 22:57

i love omar

purpleknittingmum · 20/02/2011 22:58

Oh yes I do like Christian Cooke!! :o

diddl · 21/02/2011 14:02

I meant to watch this & have somehow missed it!

How many parts have been on & how many are left?

said · 21/02/2011 14:04

I am loving this. Yes, was wondering last night about how come it's taking Erin so long to read teh diary Grin But, I don't find her naivety annoying. She's only 18 and she's a device to ask the questions for the viewer.

MrsDrOwenHunt · 21/02/2011 18:04

i am desperate to watch last episode!! wonder if u sees her grandfather before he dies?

OP posts:
rocketleaf · 21/02/2011 19:37

Thats true said Its not really annoying just has introduced a slight element of Hmm in an otherwise completely compelling program. Roll on next Sunday!

rocketleaf · 21/02/2011 19:39

diddl you can watch them all here if you dont mind viewing on a computer screen? Well worth catching up and watching the last one next weekend.

Absolutely loving this! I've learnt so much from watching it, things I had no idea about. It really is fantastic.

womma · 21/02/2011 21:53

It's wonderful, Channel four have really pulled done us proud with this

womma · 21/02/2011 21:53

...oh, you know what I mean!

AimingForSerenity · 21/02/2011 21:56

I'm loving it too but record it and watch in the week so am always behind everybody else and confused!

southeastastra · 22/02/2011 09:09

this is still fantastic, really interesting am wondering how much is true, the kids throwing stones was awful :( so much hate

mizu · 22/02/2011 12:04

There is a lot of hate. I watch it with my DH who is Muslim and he was brought up to pretty much hate Jewish people. It is an interesting watch for both of us and I am really enjoying it.

I don't think Erin is particularly naive, I didn't have a clue about what was going on there when I was 18 that's for sure.
