Neighbours.Gotta laugh! Karl Kennedy taking over from paramedics!

What is it with KK on Neighbours? Paramedics there to do their job and he is telling them what to do and taking over! lol!

I loved the way he told them that the people they were bringing out from a fire might have 'smoke inhalation and burns' - you don't say !

Lynn switched off/took the battery out of the smoke alarm and put dodgy lights on the tree because she needed the money for Stephs re trial. She had a change of heart and took the lights off the tree and put them under the sofa. Summer put the lights on the tree and they caught fire. Lynn obviously forgot about the smoke alarm!

No mention of Charlie! Another forgotten about soap child!

Paramedics in Australia are not as qualified as they are in the UK. That however does not excuse Karl's behaviour!!

It was a bit stupid of Lynne to take the batteries out of the smoke alarm if she just wanted to get the insurance- wouldn't that have invalidated it/ and put people at risk? I'm clearly overthinking this...

Doctor Karl is the best doctor ever. I love how in neighbours the hospital just consists of those three rooms, nurses station and waiting area. It's an A&E, maternity, ICU, recovery, burns unit. Anything else?

Especially stupid of Lynn to remove batteries as she was going out anyway and knew the house would be empty.

Was v funny how everyone forgot about Charlie and now none of them are particularly upset about losing their home and all their possesions.

Erinsborough Hosp has an extensive academic research facility too - many years ago (possibly pre-Karl), Jim Robinson had a very dreary wife whose name escapes me, who was a GP and who, every time they needed her to leave the room, would go off to the hospital to conduct her "research into the ageing process". Like of course you would if you were a GP.

I might be wrong about this bit, but I think one time she came back and she had turned into a completely different actress.

Now very very annoyed trying to remember her ruddy name....

PS my favourite Karl moment was about fifteen years ago when he was having an affair with an odd-looking girl called Sarah Beaumont and he very sinisterly snogged her in the vestry at the end of her wedding ceremony. It would be lovely, and make me feel less distressingly forty-something, if someone else out there remembered this too - and could tell me who it was she had actually married!

Majestic according to Wikipedia Sarah married Peter Hannay, but I have no recollection of who the heck he was and Wiki doesn't have a picture!

The marriage didn't last, iirc, and didn't Sarah come back and nearly split up Karl and Susan again?

Jim's wife was called Beverly Marshall, and yes, she did have a random head swap.
