I mean that episode was just so strange, who the hell was that girl with darrens girlfriend? Am i hoping too much to think that the enders people have filmed that episode on the quick to finish the storyline early? they didnt show much of the funeral, or of any other storyline really, it didnt seem to fit.

sorry if this has been done already...

hides the 1000000000000 EE thread

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 11/01/2011 22:24

Read the synopsis for the next weeks episodes. It's not going to get any better! Today's episode was bloody wierd! Were the scenes with darrens girlfriend an attempt at humour to lighten the funeral atmosphere?! It was shit! They've finally gone totally mad!

MrsPresley · 11/01/2011 22:26

Darrens girlfriend and her friend was like a scene from catherine Tait, totally weird!

TheSleepFairy · 11/01/2011 22:41

mrs that's exactly what I thought. The last EE thread that I became obsessed with lurked on said the story line would run until early spring.
The whole episode looked like it had been put togeather very last minute.

In the tv magazine it showed a picture of Kat & alfie sitting in the back of the hearse with kat hugging the little white coffin but it wasn't shown in the episode?

MrsRhettButler · 11/01/2011 23:49

I was going to post this question also, seemed very strange, I take it no one knows Confused

belledechocchipcookie · 11/01/2011 23:52

They've rewritten it. This was the 'oh shit we really fucked up' episode. They were going to drag the baby swap out for months. They came up with this shit rather then show the alternative.

belledechocchipcookie · 11/01/2011 23:53

She did hand it back. All of the pictures/clips that have been shown were of the old episode. Does this make sense?

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 11/01/2011 23:54

12500 complaints so far!

LoopyLoopsIsNoLongerFestive · 11/01/2011 23:55

What happened?

belledechocchipcookie · 11/01/2011 23:57

Not a lot. They buried the baby, whatsername walked in with the other baby at the wake, said she was sorry and handed him over.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 11/01/2011 23:58

Belle, the sky synopsis for Thursday and Friday seem to imply that this will continue...I really hope not though. I am a bit of a captive audience as the rest of the family love EE, but I'm finding the whole thing quite distressing. (DSis lost a baby at term, very emotional subject) trouble is I just can't stop watching, it's morbid curiosity!

Blackeyeddog · 11/01/2011 23:58

Just watched it. Yeh looks like a hurried new approach to wrap up the story line to me. Thank goodness. I bet the next few episodes will be all over the place.

PlumBumMum · 11/01/2011 23:58

Yeap I thought the whole scene with darrens girlfriend was really strange she dosen't normally act like that,
but hopefully it was a quick fix and she is really giving baby back thats the only reason I'm still watching, just want to see baby back with Kat,

Yes I know its only TV

PlumBumMum · 12/01/2011 00:00

Wondered were they going to have Kat and Alfie thinking she is giving them her baby and brush it all off, butKat had the baby, she would know her own baby???

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 12/01/2011 00:02

Actually scrap my last post. Ronnie is now mentioned on Thursday, and thats it for the next week!

belledechocchipcookie · 12/01/2011 00:03

She's handed it back. The actress has quit. They are not going to drag it out, there's been far too many complaints. Tonights was an episode which was written and shot very quickly to replace the origional crap they had already written and recorded. Whatsername will be carted off to a psychiatric hospital. Bet you.

Blackeyeddog · 12/01/2011 00:04

I like to think I would know my own newborn. We've seen Ronnie want to return him so this is surely her returning him. it really wouldn't be too hard for the bbc to correct this story misjudgement even if they have to do it on the fly.

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 12/01/2011 00:06

Hmm @ possibly misguided faith in the BBC! Hope you are right!

belledechocchipcookie · 12/01/2011 00:07

That's it now.

I'm off to bed, darn school run. When's half term?

mamatomany · 12/01/2011 00:08

I like to think I would know my own newborn.

You absolutely would, my sisters baby was taken off to be weighed and a HCA brought back another baby handed it to me at DSis's bedside and then checked the tag and before she'd even opened her mouth I said that's not our baby G, i'd only met him three hours before.

Blackeyeddog · 12/01/2011 00:08

jack will be beside himself, he won't want her anymore, she will go to Devon where all the other EE cast members are shipped to. Betcha.

MrsRhettButler · 12/01/2011 00:09

I hope so plum, the same thing crossed my mind too, that it was another 'twist' and on thursday we will see kat freak out and hand the baby back without looking at him properly :(

It does seem like a totally new episode though so let's hope that that's the end of it now

Saggyoldclothcatpuss · 12/01/2011 00:10

Black, I'd have known my newborn DS anywhere. He was an ugly little bugger! (handsome now) Grin

Blackeyeddog · 12/01/2011 00:13

Saggy I only have faith that beeb will want to be seen to do the right thing. And it is certainly possible for them to mash something together to out of this shithole they've created. If they want to.

MrsRhettButler · 12/01/2011 00:13

Oh x post with a few people
