Dullest Childrens' Telly

Not the worst, the most boring. I mean, I detest ITNG, but it's at least a little bit interesting, even if it is just spending the time wondering what the hell the writers were on.

My vote goes to The Large Family.

It is the dullest shite ever to grace television. It's just about a dull, boring family, the only edge they appear to have is that they're elephants.
Mrs Large is just so fucking wet. Why the hell does she care what her arsehole neighbours think? They're arseholes, and everyone knows it. Even their son knows his parents are arseholes.
She lets her kids walk all over her as well. it's no wonder the eldest is such a little shit.
Also, what does Mr. Large do? I don't recall ever see him do anything but read the paper. I think he goes to work, but he's just such a non character.

I kind of get that they are meant to just be an average family, but IME, no RL family is that dull.

What do you think the dullest childrens' show is?

Squiglet. I cannot bear it. Squiggle pads and squiggle sticks. FFS what is wrong with pens and paper? And then they draw a face with a wonky mouth. Dull dull dull.

I LOATHE Squiglet. Let's teach the kids stupid words for things. Bah. I second the dullness of the Large Family too.

I agree - Large Family is awful. I hate some of the others but none are as dull as those elephants.

I also find The Green Balloon Club incredibly dull. It just seems like it's made for the benefit of parents, because I just don't see how it would appeal to the mostly pre-school audience of cbeebies.

The Green Balloon Club is a whole different kettle of vomit. Hideous stage school kids, contrived settings ugh. And you're right, it bores DD rigid.

I find Squiglet is more bearable if you imagine he is the overlord of all those he meets. One day he'll snap and draw unspeakable horrors to torment his happy clappy creations.

i really hate lazytown, jut don't see the appeal at all. even sportacus is dull. i had the little puppet things. very annoying. don't seem to have good or witty storylines.

I absolutely HATE Green Balloon Club - and second the Lily Rose hatred (has anyone else noticed she appears to be Fern Brittons daughter? In the Aldi as where hubby Phil Vickery is cooking something unspeakable, Lily bloody Rose appears in the doorway with a dickish smile on her face... barf!)

Squigglet annoys me but it's not overly dull - I also hate Grandpa in my Pocket.

However, the dullest has to be that Come Outside shite with Pippin the dog and a plane which she uses to nip to the local park and to her doorstep to pick up her milk!

I find Come Outside strangely melancholic. Makes me feel really down.

Green Balloon Club-too preachy.Thankfully my dds don't like it either.I do however,like Come Outside-the poo episode is legendary,and Ben and Holly,I like Gaston and Nanny Plum.
