Wagner is a great Opera singer so he does have tallent, Louis Walsh is just choosing to make a mockery of him, obviously he couldn't have done opera for the Beatles week or Elton John but im sure they could have put an operatic twist on his songs other weeks.

Tinselina I was just thinking the same- he always said opera was his 'thing' yet Louis has set him up as a comedy act.

Rhyddian managed to make each off the themes he did fairly operatic, so it can be done.

Wanger said that as his English isn't great, he struggles with constantly being given fast songs. I'm not saying he should win, but he has been unfairly set up.

Of course he's not better than Katie. He couldn't carry a tune in a bucket, he has very heavily accented English - and not in a good way - and is a complete horse-frightener.
The Weasel may be v annoying but saying that Wanger is a better singer is lunacy. Wotisname, Rhydian, he was a good classical singer. Wanger, much as I love him, is not.

I loved Rhyd, and of course wagner is not in the same league- but Louis could at least have tried to give him songs he was comfortable with. He has let Mary stay in 'her comfort zone' most weeks.

I don't like Wanger, but I do feel a bit sorry for the way he has been portrayed. Chicco, for example, was similarly made a comedy act, but he embraced it. Wanger really thinks he is good, which is different.

It must be galling for the better singers (Treyc for example) to know that Wanger will be on the x-factor tour making money, and she will be back to her day job

I switched over during Wagner's performance. Don't hate the guy but it's not funny anymore. Get the feeling Louis's taking the piss out of him without him being aware of it. And that's just not nice!

Wagner is a bit like when they haul out the rejects for the final, but all through the competition.

I don't like the way Louis keeps pronouncing Wagners name wrong. It was funny at first, now it's just insulting i think.

I lost all sympathy for Wagner when I read that the dancers have been complaining about him groping them. Dirty old letch.

I do think that Louis is a bum for giving him shite songs. Typical Louis.

It annoys me too that Louis pronounces wagners name wrong too and just defends himself by saying "but it's slept with a W"

Wagner shows us all it is possible to achieve a lot if you just give it a go.

He is just awful, but someone must be voting for him.

Absolutely agree about Louis setting Wagner up and just rude not to pronounce his name right. Maybe Wagner should pronounce Louis' name exactly as it is spelt?!

Having said that, it really should be Wagner to go tonight.
