We've filled up one thread, let's see if we can get through another before the end of the series!

I remember Darren Gough's show dance and that was stunning. And Mark Ramprakash's so far these just don't seem to be matching up to my expectations.

Me too, Skillbo. Really wanted to love it but didn't. As for previous show dances, I liked Tom and Camilla's even though I didn't vote for them in the end as I think that was Rachel's year wasn't it?

Showdances are usually rubbish

And I believe they also pretty much copied the dance from the film. Zero points for originality.

The opening sequence was identical to the film.

Bruno is right, James choreographed that to all her strengths.

I liked Karas she just needed an extra week!

Pamelas was v simple. Alesha more or less said so. Her footwork didn't match his either

Better (Pamela and James) - but not quite dramatic enough for my liking. I was expecting a Hollywood-y number like Tom and Camilla's, not a tricksy one like Darren and Lilia's.

i thought it was very good - and more fun than watching some lifts stitched together.

Ooh, I didn't watch the earlier Strictlys so I didn't know that other people have used this song. I agree it did look like Dirty Dancing but I do think it was the best show dance. I sometimes think that putting in all those lifts and tricks don't make it brilliant to watch, there should be more dancing in it..

What did James just say that had everyone laughing? DD shrieked an an inopportune moment

I think Kara and Artem's would have been best if it had been perfect. But still think that we've had much better one's in the past.

Agree, I think Matt out first - not for lack of ability but because of Aliona's choreography. Pamela second and Kara to win - Pamela scores better because her routines are simpler, and people know that.
