Chris and Ola's was quite good, but it seemed too much like a variation on their charleston iirc. Wasn't it a sort of charlestony jivey thing? I've repressed the memory because I was so traumatised that Ricky Whittle didn't win.

Yes Chris and Ola's was fun. I think Darren Gough and Lilias was good too from memory. Also Karen and Marks.

What was so bad about Lisa's showdance - can't remember it.

fartmeister - it was some kind of rumba/acrobatic thing. The reality was Lisa wearing not a lot, mainly being carried around the floor by Brendan with a pained expression on her face. Considering how good she was, really bloody dreadful!

I agree, Lisa's show dance was really disappointing last year. I have high expectations this year...!

Hmm, Matt needs to grow a pair if he was hurt by the judges comments over his salsa. It was awful Matt, get over it and stop blubbing!

Matt's Samba

His hands don't seem as well placed as they have been in the past and at times he lost his bounce action.

But it was well danced and he seemed genuinely relaxed and enjoying himself.

I enjoyed that - he looked great!

I predict the judges will give everyone 9s and 10s tonight!

Matt did quite well I think but he's not the best of the three of them.

My night of salsa was cancelled because of the weather so I am here.

And she didn't lift her foot off the floor that time!

Kara's Rumba

Beautifully danced again. No shots of the feet so I can't say whether they came off the floor (though I agree with Karen that it is only a lift if there is an upward impulsion).

The only point I'd pick up on is that sometime she fails to finish her arm lines - looks as though she has a slightly limp wrist, but it really is a more than minor issue.

I want that dress. In a different colour.

Gargh broadband dropped out during Kara and Artem's rumba, curses!

Very well danced, but as there are only really 3 steps you can't go too far wrong!

She is good and deserves to be in the Final.
