Thank you Prolesworth, you know how much he means to me . That's made me feel a bit better.

And you're right, Aliona just stood there looking off into the mid distance as if it was nothing to do with her. She's defended Matt in the past - she must have known that it was down to the choreography. Tho I do agree, Matt is at the stage now of trying just too hard (like Jimi) and sometimes that can be hard to watch. I still love him utterly and completely and will happily have his babies and milk his cows.

Hope you're right Prolesworth. I'll be a bag of nerves watching Matt's tango tonight! He really did look close to tears last night.

Agree that Pamela's been overmarked fairly regularly.

Kara's VW was just beautiful. Her foot did leave the floor though - more than once I thought. Still think Craig was a meanie to give her 9.

Think Scott's Charleston will save him and that Gavin may get the votes too. Aaaggghhhh! No idea who's going.

Does Matt at least have proper tango music or is he dancing to the theme from Bob the Builder or similar?

Not sure. Gav will obviously go this weekend, and I reckon Scott might go - he's been in the bottom 2 before of course, so didn't get the public vote then. I'm hoping everyone's heart melted to see Matt's face when the judges gave their verdicts, and when Tess was talking to him. He did get a standing ovation, so he has a big fan base.

Just caught up on iplayer. Loved Kara & first time I liked Pamela but still hoping she goes.

Pamela's clodhoppers were these or similar. Wonder why (if she needed flats rather than heels) she didn't go for something more like these which would have looked SO much better .

I hated the swingathon, thought it looked shambolic and failed to see how the judges could make such speedy decisions and agree so quickly. Also eg Gav learnt that dance all week and danced 30 seconds of it!

Didn't a crew member have to come on to tell Gavin and Katya to stop dancing?

It was impossible to film, shame as I think we missed some nice moves. Shame about Matt, he clearly was utterly disappointed.

Just caught up on Sky+, agree with comments on here, liked the swingathon bit too.
Have to record tonight's as out again, so will be back tomorrow :)

That was just a bit boring. I will admit to not being a fan and that colours my judgement, but he has danced much better than that earlier in the series I think.
