I'm going to take personal credit for that result as I voted once for everyone except Ann (wouldn't have voted for Pamela, because she was a) safe b) overscored but DD made me).
How, if at all, did the rest of you vote?

Voted Pamela and Kara (dd's choices).

I think it will probably be Pam, Matt and Kara in the final. Scott and Matt had the same judges score so clearly Matt has more support. Gavin has already been in bottom 2 and is unlikely to score as high as the others unless one of them blows it!

Was surprised to see Scott there in place of Gavin but he has had a couple of bad weeks so perhaps not that surprising really!

Wasn't it lovely seeing Anton and Erin do their waltz... so in sync with each other, just beautiful! I have been feeling a bit sorry for Anton as he must see the others doing proper dances and his choreography is mocked every week because Ann just can't DO anything! Ah well, all over now! Looking forward to next weekend when they're doing 3 dances.

And I noticed Natalie all over Anton like a rash as well - bit of an odd choice but then she's rather strange looking too

Scott really needs to pull his socks up now. He's been able to coast for a few weeks getting by on his natural ability and personality, but the competition really starts here.

I think it is all going to come down to which dances each couple is given. Both Gavin and Pamela could struggle if they end up with several latin dances. Both are much stronger in ballroom and latin dances tend to have more "wow" factor, depsite being easier to learn.

I still think Kara will be in the Final, but am not sure about who will be there with her. Both Aliona and Natalie can have bad choreography moments, and all it takes is one silly move that goes wrong or is marked down and they could be out.

Anton and Erin were amazing.

I think Natalie was relieved it wasn't her going out, she didn't look too happy when it was announced she was in the bottom 2. Can't imagine anything going on between them. Anton is asexual!

Dilys - we will have to share credit as I also voted for everyone dxcept Ann and Pamela (considered hersafe). I did pretend vote for Ann to keep DS happy but obviously cut it off before it connected

I'm pretty sure, though can't be confident, that Anton is married.

My dance teacher told me yesterday that she gave Anton his first "professional" dance job!
He'd been an amateur for a number of years and after turning pro my teacher booked him to come to Suffolk and run a day long workshop for the kids that she was teaching. This was pre-Strictly and she paid him £500!
Doubt she'd get him for that fee these days!

I'm hoping Kara, Scott and Gavin.
Pamela has been overscored since day1.
Matt is ..I don't know.. but there's just something about him I'm not keen on...can't put my finger on it.
DH thinks Gavin is a cock and I suppose he has made some very arrogant remarks and is constantly checking himself on the VT but he is strangely growing on me.
Overall want Kara and Artem to win, always love a good romance!!
