We have the complete box set on dvd but I still get a little thrill of excitement if it randomly pops up on some cable channel.

so lovely to see ds getting the humour - it was a one off.on more 4 every sunday at 10pm.

Best cure for the blues ever. It should be on prescription.

Love it. Kept me sane during last week of pregnancy when my sense of humour tried to abandon me.

We call DS Father Jack as he does an oustanding impression of him for a 2 yr old.

I love Father Ted - the one where they get trapped in the biggest lingerie department in Ireland is excellent.

My Dad hates it because he lives in exactly the little Irish country backwater that they are mocking

I love the one where they go on holiday to the tiny caravan "these cows are close, the others are far away" featuring Graham Norton and the sewage lorry.

I really love the one with Bishop Brennan and the rabbits.

And, of course, the Eurovision song contest. Who can forget My Lovely Horse?

When Dermot Morgan died I saw Frank Kelly (Fr Jack) being interviewed and he was a complete luvvie. It was most disconcerting when all you expect him to say is "drink, feck".
