How outrageous was that first bloke, moaning about other cultures taking over England when he has moved to Spain to turn part of that into Little England!

There are lots of people here in Spain who think like the cabby, luckily not too many of them live where I do. I had a conversation with someone once along similar lines and said to them we are immigrants and our culture is having an influence. Doh, he hadnt thought of that. hadnt thought of himself as an immigrant because he wasnt an economic one or a refugee. I can also see the cabbies point of view because there are some places about an hour up the road from me, where whole streets are british, no Spanish on menus etc.

agree that it's fascinating to see how close the 49yr old adult is to the 7yr old child. But programme seemed to go on forever, and i yawned through most of it... but maybe I just should have been asleep in bed!

what's interesting, I think, is if they started again now, just how different it would have to be to reflect Britain today
