I could watch each episode again and again.

Actually I do.

But the show that's just been shown on E4 when they try the breastmilk and Monica goes shopping with Ross's gorlfriend Julie has to be one of the classics.

The one where Rachel finds out and the one where Ross finds out (not sure if they are exactly called that).

Chandler lets slip by saying 'Remember when Ross fell in love with Carol and bought her that ridiculously expensive crystal duck?'

And the when Rachel leaves the drunken message for Ross saying she is over him 'You're over me? When were you...under me?'

I love the Poker one too.

Love so many of them - need to go home and watch some now! One of my favourite parts of an episode is the one with the cheesecake. I think Rachel drops it then Joey turns up and just automatically gets the fork out of his pocket and starts eating!

Ooh yes the wedding dress one, with the fantastically ridiculous and yet somehow possible reasons why they all have a wedding dress.

I agree peachsmuggler tho re the One Where No-one's Ready, it's good cause it's all in one room with all of them in one plot.

Also yy Tom Selleck, DH says they had to write him out because he was too good an actor.

A few weeks ago I saw one on E4 I'd never seen before!!! Holy grail or what?

Some of my favourites are the ones with Rachel's sisters - especially Christina Applegate. The fight scene with her and Rachel is hilarious, with Monica in the background trying to repack her precious plates before they get smashed and shouting " Forget the bubblewrap, there isn't time " And when they are discussing whogets Emma and Joey says "Who has to die for me to get her ?"

But I've seen the "Holiday Armadillo" too many times now - it has stopped being funny!

It was odd seeing the "baby on the bus" episode recently again on E4 and noticing that they had actually used genuine location filming. In later years, New York streets were all done in the studio. Did the budget go down, or did most of it go on the stars' salaries?

UD - Location shooting is often more expensive than building sets if filming over a long period. Tis why the more recent Harry Potter films were filmed on set, rather than using (for example) locations around Oxford University.

My favourite bit with Rachel's sisters is where Jill hisses at Rachel 'You made me doubt my fashion sense!' Her delivery of that line is just spot on.

I do think that a lot of the guest stars stole the show from the regulars with their performances though. I am particularly thinking of Bruce Willis, Brad Pitt, Reese Witherspoon, Hugh Laurie (talk about scene stealing with his one or two minutes!), Tom Conti ('I could kill you with my thumb, you know'), Kathleen Turner, Julia Roberts... Elle McPherson, on the other hand, was crap and words cannot describe how annoying Helen Baxendale's character was.

A very early one now on E4. Ross is arguing with Phoebe who doesn't believe in evolution.

Oh and Janice, what a great character!

Oh just remembered one of my favourites, the one with the thumb - where Chandler takes up smoking again. The early ones are the best.

I love all the friends episodes and are always surprised when I watch one I haven't seen before.

I have had a similar relationship as Ross and Rachel, on again, off again, and sometimes it is hard to watch. {hits self as that is just stupid}

I love the early ones, the one with the thumb is my all time favourite! Chandler making everyone argue so he can go and smoke in peace is absolutely hilarious!
Also when Chandler and Janice are together but Joey hates her "I want to pull my arm off just so I have something to throw at her"

The one where Joey realises Monica and Chandler are sleeping together which is the episode with the eyelash curlers.

Also, the one when Pheobe and Chandler pretend to get it on and Joey flicks open Phoebe's top as Chandler is frightened of bras! Chandler blurts out that he's in love with Monica!

Evening Chaos! Oh I should SO start a thread on Frasier!! :o

and the bit before it when he realises they're locked out "Holey Moley are we in a pickle now" :o
