Which is your favourite episode of Friends?

I could watch each episode again and again.

Actually I do.

But the show that's just been shown on E4 when they try the breastmilk and Monica goes shopping with Ross's gorlfriend Julie has to be one of the classics.

That's my favourite too!!! When they're getting ready to go out. It has so many funny bits, namely

joey wearing all chandler's clothes and lunging

the "drink the fat" bit

monica leaving series of increasingly excruciating messages on Richard's answermachine

it's full of brilliant lines and the plot (or lack of it) just works so well. Also think it really benefits from being set in one room so the acting and script stand on their own brilliantly.

(though my fave bit ever if Phoebe coming on to Chandler, as mentioned above)

I love the one hwere Joey tries to speak French with Phoebe shrieking 'YOUR NOT SPEAKING FRENCH!'

The one where Rachel dresses in her cheerleader outfit to seduce her customer, who she does end up going out with.

Its at a fake surprise party for Emily.

I like the thanksgiving one where rachel makes pudding with mince in it

and the one where chandler wants to move in 'why don't I just move in and you understand what I'm saying'

PIVOT is mine too.

Ex used to love the one with Alec Baldwin at Ross and Monica's parents wedding anniversary, "we're driving?! ACES!".

Ross my favourite too. I love him, I laugh more at episodes with him than another others.

I love the one with Frank where he comes into Central Perk with the triplets.. with his big intense eyes... 'I haven't slept in 5 years!....'

I love the one where Phoebe and Rachael go running and Phoebe does that funny run. DS2 runs like that.

I love Friends - I can't name a single favourite episode as there are so many good ones.

I like the Laminated List, the one where Ross and Rachel have a row after he admitted he fell asleep reading her letter at the beach house.

"You know what, it's not that common, it doesn't happen to every guy and it IS a big deal!"

Oh and "I didn't propose, I DIDN'T!.........except........Well.... it does sound like something I would do!"

When Phoebe thinks Ross has proposed to Rachel at the hospital after she had Emma.

The lunges!!!
God they were funny.
I think it was such a fantastic series- ok, some episodes weren't as good, but I would still watch them now.
I used to really fancy Chandler- when you watch them, you realise how his weight fluctuated.

It doesn't seem possible to recreate that chemistry in any other show though. There is no show as funny as friends, even the not that funny ones were funny and totally worth watching iyswim.

And ANYTHING with Tom Selleck in as Dr Richard, what a dreamboat

That's the one where she goes commando in the green dress isn't it?

I love the scene where Chandler and Rachel are eating cheesecake off the floor and Joey turns up and pulls a fork out of his jacket pocket. Classic.

What episode was it where Joey says about the soap they share...

He asks why its ok to share soap and not toothbrushes...Chandler is freaked and then Joey says..'Think about the first think I wash in the shower, and then the last thing I wash in the shower...'

'You fell asleeeep!'

I think about that scene each time I have a shower Val.

I also love the one with Bruce willis 'i'm the man'

I love Phoebes songs

'Little tiny tarzan, swinging on a nosehair, swinging with the greatest of ease'

And when she's busking outside Monicas restaurant with a Top Hat and a pince nez

Phoebe and Chandler singing Endless Love and swapping parts at the end because they can't hit the right notes!

Because it's repeated so often, it's easy to 'get tired' of it without really watching it. I started watching them again and was reminded of how sharply written it is and how much bang you get for your buck.

Some favourites:

The one where Monica shadows the woman who is stealing her identity and having a better time being ?Monica? than she is.

The one with Monica and Ross doing ?The Routine?, the embarrassing dance they made up as teenagers to get on the New Year TV show.

Phoebe saying to Ross, who's the last to know he has got Rachel pregnant, 'That is totally new information!'

And of course, 'JOEY DOESN?T SHARE FOOD!'

'Theres always roo for jello!'

The one where Ross and Janice get together. Funny!

The new year when Rachel's got whacked in the face by a cab door, Joey's invited a single mum to the party but her kids are there too, Fun Bobby's grandpa is dead, Chandler's accidentally back with JAAAAAAAnice & Phoebe breaks up with David The Scientist Guy

I love the bit where DTS's colleague comes up to him and Phoebe, looks her up and down and by way of a greeting sneers, 'Yoko'

Oh and Pheobe playing a "tricky game" when she tells Rachel that the pregnancy test is negative.

Oh how I wept.

I adore Friends. Especially early Friends when Phoebe was weirder and Ross was sweet as opposed to mad.

I can't pick a favourite episode (though I do like the trapped in an ATM vestibule with Jill Goodacre one) but have two favourite lines...
